Surprisingly Decent? Winchester Super X 3" 1-7/8oz #4 W/ 11-87 & Remington Straight Rifled Choke
Today we bring out some of the Winchester Super X 3" 1-7/8oz 4s and put them to the test at 40 yards through the Remington 11-87 and an old Remington straight rifled super full choke. We saw some surprisingly decent results from this combo, so stick around and see how it performs!

That choke on my Dads 1100 with a 21” barrel has put down many turkeys for him and one for me and counting. He always used Remington Nitro 4s but I’m using the Winchester Longbeard 5s or 6s as long as I can find them. Love those older Remingtons

It has done well in a lot of our testing, so I wouldn't be scared to use it on a hunt based on what I've seen from it
That's an interesting choke

Yep, it definitely is
Definitely better than any of Remingtons offerings.

Yep, I'd say so as well
I agree. Not bad at all. I would trust it. What are your thoughts about running that shell through the XR choke?

I would guess they would do pretty decently with a LB choke, but I haven't tested that combo yet. Maybe that something we should test to see how it does
