    And as usual with this guys shorts, the extremely common move that throws it all off is missing for a random light square bishop move. Pawn h6 challenging the bishop within 3 moves of bishop g5...

    Don't be a pr*ck. It's closer to the London than it is to anything else. So comparing it to the London is the easiest way to remember it

    @@KumarBendrake You do you bruh. I'm just trying to point out the subtlety. This is Torre attack and It's in the brackets in the video title but I just wanted to point out that the video title is misleading. But of course, you can try to play it thinking it's London.

    @@AvengerSubzerolike the other guy said, there’s no need to be a pr*ck. The setup follows the concept of the London system with the signature pawn pyramid.

    I play the London. There is no way black will ever play that sequence of moves to allow you to get that CM. Thousands of games, there are over a million online games a day. So thousands is such a tiny percentage.

    London system opening trap ❌ London system middlegame trap ✅

  • @yyyyyk

    Why would black trade knights when literally any black queen move (except Qb8) defends the knight? I don't think this plan will work very often.

  • @trc3675
    @trc36752 ай бұрын

    Not true, thousands of players have not fallen for this trap. When the bishop advances to g5, black will not allow it to just sit there unchallenged while white sets up! It will move pawn on h6 push it back.

    Why would black move the knight? whites queen is threatening the knight but if queen takes knight, bishop takes queen. I'd gladly sacrifice a knight for an opponents queen.
