I think it was to AK's advantage that he lived in NYC first. He was adapted to Street #'s, bus lines, subway lines & stations, trains, where he had to know this street and that street, this subway line goes here & that subway line goes there. So, when he got to Miami Beach, Fla. that kind of thinking has been a big help to him. He already knows how to look at an area according to Street names and numbers. You might say, living in NYC "groomed" him for Miami Beach and really for anywhere he needs to get around by sidewalks, streets, buses, etc. AK, I think, was Born to Travel!! 👋🙂

Great seeing all the homes and local shops/restaurants in Surfside, and it's such a nice, relaxing area. 🌴 30:49 It's incredibly sad to see all the names on the banner, especially the young children. RIP 😢🙏 I really appreciate you walking through to show the previous condo site. Hi AK, thanks so much for this upload. I wondered if you would actually show the location of the Champlain Towers South collapse in Surfside. Thank you for doing so in such a respectful manner - and showing so many of the names (and ages) of those who so tragically lost their lives. As a UK viewer, I will always remember this event because, sadly, one of my best friends lost her only son two days later on 26 June 2021 - under tragic circumstances, too! Stay safe and keep up the great work!

The Grand Beach hotel on the beach side has the usual rooms and suites you'd find in a hotel while the "other" Grand Beach on the other side of Collins Avenue has apartments... Since you mentioned it I thought you'd like to know 🙂 Great video 👍👍

U SHOWED YOUR FANS MOST OF NYC,& NOW SO FAR MUCH OF MIAMI AREA, & NOW SURFSIDE WHICH SADLY IS KNOWN FOR THAT HORRID CONDO COLLAPSE LAST YEAR, BUT IN EARLY`60's THERE WAS A TV SHOW`SURFSIDE 6' WHICH TOOK PLACE IN THAT AREA, ON A HOUSEBOAT, CHECK IT OUT,SILLY,BUT POPULAR BACK THEN AS TAB HUNTER WAS ONE OF THE CAST. & THX FOR THIS STROLL..AS PER.

Kevin, I'm passing on relatively abstract news and commentary (as I've yet to try myself), but in *Surfside, there's a place called "Josh's Deli. " Josh trained as a real chef, but wanted to do something *creative and qualitative with his beloved Jewish cuisine. He opened this place. Supposedly they make their own bagels, do their own baking, picle and age their own meats, etc. I've wanted to get to this little place forever, and keep missing opportunity to do so. He integrates Spanish names and ingredients with some of the classics It's wacky, fun, supposedly really delicious. He has remained open , surviving the COVID challenges. The place is physically small, and I believe closes at 3. Would be wonderful for you to try, and if you could get a hold of him - a fun person to interview on a video. A real Florida tale. Best to you Kevin.

I prefer these recorded videos over livestream. I hope they’re doing well. Livestream calling out of donations, and welcoming people and side conversations is a distraction.

Beautiful, peaceful area. I notice that the sidewalks are red, wonder if they are painted that way and why, or if it's some type of natural material used?
