Took @kaheevay and @samcustin on in a heat, then settled it in the gym! Followed it up with A Thousand steps in the midday heat at Koko Head with the legend T-Dawg! (Tyler Florence) and a weight vest 😂 we have issues but we also have all the fun!

Just wanted to ask since I am not a surfer. But is this kind of workout what professional surfers usually go through to help survive rough surfing conditions or is this just because Nathan and his buddies love to work out or a combination of both. From watching you would think they were in a military or le enforcement type of training. Just very curious about the very intense workouts that are posted. Kudos to them all.

It is not the regular surf type training, you nailed it i do it because its mentally strengthening, and we just love to push ourselves, i base a lot of my training off crossfit/military type training! We just like to see if we survive what we program 😂
