I love your surf videos. I have never fished destin but I'm about to. I'll be there for 10 days surf fishing Oct 15 to 25. Maybe I'll run into ya. Thanks for your hard work these vids keep me entertained between trips.

Lotta fun on spinning gear.

Was in Destin Sept. 19 to 26. The 22nd rented a center console. Was bay side of Destin bridge. With half a blue crab for bait had a 45lb steel leader bit in half. Any ideas what??? DId a couple days of surf fishing at Pompano Joe's, night time off beach at Norridge Point in harbor. All week a lot of big and little cat fish, whiting, crockers, flounder, red fish, lizard fish, striped burrfish (ugly guy). Your shared knowledge of where and how made an enjoyable fishing vacation. Thank you!

I love hearing that my videos helped someone catch fish, that’s why I do them! Probably a bull shark bit your leader in half. They are always around that bridge. It sounds like you had an awesome fishing trip, congrats!

One is a penn slammer 7500 on a 12 foot heavy penn surf rod. With 65 lb braid. The other is a shimano 8000 on a penn 13 foot heavy surf rod.

Both are Penn battalion heavy surf rods. One has a Cabo 80 and the other is Penn Slammer 7500. Both have 60lb braid on them.

Going to be in destin in September what are my odds of catching a decent shark from the sand?

Everything is around and feeding in august. Pompano will be pretty sparse but there will be all the pelagics and inshore fish.
