Yeah it was nuts!
I got almost 5 miles on running from pole to pole today. Only sat on my chair less than ones min in almost 5 hours of fishing!

Visiting the fort walton are on vacation untile the end of the week and I would love to get some lines out on this stretch of beach. We drove by and parking for access seems almost impossible. I can totally see how this is a great spot due to the jetty causing the fish to congregate almost like a traffic jam.

How do you get out to the jetties? Especially the west side. Looks like the parking is closed by the bridge

No way to access west anymore unless you are military or by boat. The east jetty you use Osteen Beach Access.

Damn, dude! That was killer! Jack on a pomp rig! I’m getting the idea that a pomp rig is good for more than just pomps! Sand fleas and Fish Bites are the go to baits down there! I reckon fresh cut bait cast a long distance is probably the best for shark or bigger fish, but damn, those Jacks are plenty big! And they make great bait! 👍
