Once the court rules that parents can't make the choice for transgender care. The ruling will then extended to adults.

Half of the conservative 6 scotus folks came in with Trump, who was elected. Trump is super close to winning another election, so the thing is all of this, including Dobbs, was a consequence of an election and the public will. Yes not the popular vote, but the will of the electorate through the current electoral system. This is what the country wants. The only way around this is to win both houses of Congress and pass laws.

Term limits will definitely start fixing the problem. Congress doing its job of holding the supreme Court accountable is the other problem; which some senators are going to do. I’m sick of conservatives taking away people’s choices in the name of “protecting” a group, with the implication that the people involved are too stupid to make their own choices. The "heartbeat" that most conservatives cite in early pregnancy is electrical twitching before the formation of an actual heart. But yeah, if I were to just go ahead and grant that a fetus is a person as soon as there's electrical activity in the chest, that person has no right to my organs. Parents aren't legally obligated to donate organs to their birthed children, even if they're dying, so I don't see why a parent should be obligated to give their blood and vitamins and organs to a child inhabiting their body nonconsensually. And since childbirth is deadly, especially in the US compared to other first-world countries, lethal self-defense is completely justified.
