Once a lawyer's son also became a lawyer He finished the case which his father ran for 30 years and said proudly to the father what took you 30 years I completed in one hearing . now the father got angry and said you idiot that case gave us food for 30 years and now we have lost it.

Judiciary reformation is the need of hour, otherwise democracy has no meaning. Speedy disposal of the cases should be mandated. At present what we have is pray for time system.

It is better they now retire! Because they will not be able to get the Supreme Court opened during night.

So 80 per cent of the colonial laws have been retained and 20 per cent have been changed. The question is: How many of the changed laws conform with the decisions of the Supreme Court which can be said are not colonial and will ensure continuity?

Laws are made by Parliament. Not Supreme court.

Being inert, Law alone is not going to bring any big change. The experts who are operating these laws should handle them for the good of the society/country. If the experts are not honest/ don't work for the good of the society, the law alone cannot bring down crimes. The experts have to think and examine their own mind-dynamics honestly and find out the answer for the question, "who is breeding, mainly, the crimes ? - "Who is strengthening the criminals ?!" Let the experts work with honesty and with their own intelligence to do good to the society. A law cannot speak of its own - advocacy done by advocates brings the ability for the laws to speak. Can we please think with an open mind !

See the difference in opinion by different advocates at 10:57 and 23:59. 29:54, this alteration leads to nowhere- this is enough, isn't it? While Kali Purie says, media cannot be voice of opposition (indirectly she means it can be voice of govt), other journalist from her channel is capturing something different from her taste. 57:07, not impressed with this girl, Kali Purie type. Advocate very cleverly talks about advantages first and before he keeps his opinion on disadvantages, girl brings opposition parties' claim! She could have waited or asked about disadvantages directly, but she didn't! Why are we having such limited mindset from young journalists? For Kali Purie, it can be understood.

As such adjournment are frequent now learning new laws will require more adjournment. Instead of reducing time to conclude the case more people slog in court and political vendetta will increase by power using police force as long as possible.

I ordere for expedite the process for justice and to make sure the right person gets until the conversation is between the clients, lawyers, judges who work in unison keeping in view the regional and language diversity India must have 4 to 5 regional Supreme courts at eastern, western, Southern and Central regions to cater the need of the country.

India had population of 30 crores when the old laws were framed; Now we have about 140 crores; Why can’t we have courts working 24x7 like railways & hospitals to address pendency of cases & arrears in courts

Evaluation should be from a neutral perspective ; aiming to improve the judicial system as a whole; Not from a political perspective ( based on party line) Luminaries like Singhvi should suggest improvements/ changes while the new laws are in the making;

The better recourse was to resort to codification and consolidation and where necessary reform of all of the law in a particular subject into a single Act of Parliament. Where possible the Act (or “Code”) should then stand as the only primary legislation on that subject.

Singhvi wants another 90% more changes. On his desire another change with equal rights to Hindus maybe drafted,passed

India is following Anglo Saxon law . All the maxims are from that . I don’t think we can jump out from that one. The new law going to be a mixture for many years.
