I know how much fun this one was for the fans to watch, and can only imagine how much fun the crew had filming it! I liked that they played with some truths and some fiction on the real lives too. Awesome job by the actors! My favorite call out was the Days of Our Lives clip!

I LOVE the implication that they don't get along.

The title refers to Mel Brooks movie, Blazing Saddles, when they broke through the 4th wall into another movie set, a musical called The French Mistake. Jared's father is of Polish decent. All of the characters are real but played by actors. The only 2 who play themselves are Gen & the stunt coordinator. J2 get along fabulously! They stood up in each others weddings. They even lived next door to each other. They live in Austin, Texas. By ME! Jared owns a bar downtown & Jensen owns a brewery nearby! Lucky me! The pilot episode was filmed in L.A. but the rest of the series was filmed in & around Vancouver. All the cast member are real people but are played by actors, except for Gen & the stunt coordinators who played themselves. The driver is supposed to be their bodyguard, Clif. The real Clif still accompanies them to conventions. Bob Singer is played by Brian Doyle-Murray from Christmas Vacation & Caddyshack. When they were "acting", Dean looks like he is taking a shit! LOL! BTW- I LOVE hockey! I'm from Detroit. GO RED WINGS! This is an awesome episode! I loved your reaction! Looking forward to the next one. I hope you have a great holiday! ❤☮

As you've been probably told on Patreon, the real lives thing was only partially true. There were never even rumours that they "weren't talking". Also as I'm sure we're told on Patreon as well - "The title of the episode is a reference to the Mel Brooks comedy, Blazing Saddles, where characters attend the film's premier and crash through a Hollywood set with actors performing a musical number seemingly entitled "The French Mistake" echoing Sam and Dean crashing through the window into the set in the parallel reality."
