Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXe 1/144 Eduard

The legendary World War II aircraft Supermarine Spitfire is manufactured by almost every modeling company. So we have a choice of Spitfire in all possible scales and all kinds of production versions. I chose the smallest model on the market - Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXe in 1/144 scale from the company Eduard in the DualCombo edition. To improve, I use Eduard and Brengun etching kits, which contain cockpit parts and landing flaps. Detailset with Rolls-Royce Merlin engine is from Sun Detail. Even with a lot of accessories, there is room left for making details on your own.
Model by Josef Choren.

Holy cow! Most people go 1/144 when they want models to look good with less attention to detail. But that's the opposite, doing that much details in that scale is nothing short of insane. But what wonderful insanity I just witnessed. Kudos.

Damn me, P.E. and resin on a 1/144 fighter, whatever next. Absolutely incredible model though, if I hadn't just watched you make it, you could have told me the pictures at the end were of a 1/48 model and I would have believed you. Outstanding Sir.

I agree with ChancerNW. To do that in 1/72nd scale is pretty crazy. To do it in 144th scale is totally insane. Not just do it but do it as good as you did. Awesome work and your ability to handle all those very tiny parts and also make some of your own is way beyond what I can do and many others. Some really outstanding work.

Cool stuff! There craftsman making a standard Hot Wheels die cast and taking them to the next level like you. They often use Jeweler's saws to cut open the hoods and doors or body panels for access to detailing them out. They use putty to build out fender flares, scoops/vents and plastic sheet to build spoilers/ wings, aero skirting, etc. We live in good times for modeling! Thanks!!

I'm completely Amazed that this quality at this scale was even possible.. no matter how carefully i handle small parts at 1/48 scale, I end up snapping some tiny detail parts .. couldn't imagine trying this scale at such detail.

24:09 - I was wondering what you were trying to say here. Close-Caption came up with "a few more abortions with silver cry on". The music, which IMHO is an annoyance and a distraction (no offense intended), is louder than your narration, so I rely on Close Caption. Thanks.

This is insane. I love modeling building, I love Eduards quality and kits, but what is going on these days, I can't afford these mansize kits in 1/24, 1/16, 1/32. I have already had laser eye surgery. What next, a grain of rice carving? Extremely nice build and easy to display, but I'd like to SEE my model, and I bet this cost at least 59 bucks anyway.. if this doesn't drive you crazy the damn music will.
