They did Superman justice with Henry Cavill. Great acting, no cheap crap. I refused to watch the new Superman movies for a long time due to growing up with Christopher Reeve's Superman. Cavill, Snyder, and DC really came through with Superman for me. Hats off to Cavill for the spot on portrayal.

I like Henry Cavill but I'm sorry, the DCEU is nothing compared to the MCU. The cgi is worse, the emotions are overdramatic, and the story feels rushed with little time for character development. It's unfortunate because I feel like DC has more potential than Marvel.

I thought that the movie didn't feel like a movie at all, it didn't feel like a cinematic experience, it felt more like I was watching a TV show(and not a particularly good one), it was the same kind of feeling that I had when I saw Green Lantern in theaters. Hopefully, in the future, Warner Brothers and DC can figure out what to do with Superman as well as the Justice League, There's great potential there but Warner Brothers needs to get the right people with the right story working on some of their characters-just like they did with Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Shazam.

The original plan for the DCEU was to reveal that Reverse Flash was the biggest villain. Bigger than Darkseid. They were going to reveal that Reverse Flash was in the background of all the films pulling the strings to ensure that certain events happened to affect the Justice League. With this, it makes me wonder if Reverse Flash is here in this scene hiding somewhere. If that is the case, he clearly thought it was hilarious when Superman used his super speed to battle against Barry. Of course, it's possible that Reverse Flash may not be here because he wouldn't want to risk Superman managing to notice his presence.

Maybe is not that he doesn't remember, but simply that except batman and wonder woman who fought with him against doom, he just doesn't know who flash, cyborg and acquaman are, so he acts like defensive anyhow. Plus he didn't knew wonderwoman well, and he kinda had a beef with batman so... (not really a good start)
