props to Ethan for working so hard to make Sal break character
Salan Moore is nice, but would prefer to see the return of Sal Morrison. Maybe some Animal Man or Doom Patrol? Or, if they want to make everyone cry, We3?
internally panicking about whether or not this is all a Black Mercy fantasy
I love in the JLU episode how they made the wife basically still Lois. Saying that he truly does love her. That his perfect world is Krypton is still alive, but also with Lois.
This has to be my favorite episode of Back Issues to date. Now back to reality...
Wasn't this a Justice League the animated series episode?
I'm so happy that we got a few minutes with lil old Ally Moore
Benimem totally killed Ethan. Cut a whole track dawg!
Isn't a more sympathetic interpretation of the flower thing just that Supes has accepted that he'll never see the real Krypton and should stop living in the past. That seems more what Moore's getting at to me.
Lil' Ol Ally Moore finally returns!
Alan Moore: Do you understand what you did to me?
I love the JLU adaptation. The exchange is great.
"Batman's an anarchist who doesn't know what the fuck he's doing."
“Don’t forget, this is superheroes, where stupid assholes dress like lunatics!”
Back to reality
Salan Moore!
I don't know if anybody agrees, but in the end of this comic I realized that actually Mongul gave Superman that best present he could ever get. Well, what do you give to a man that has everything? It can not be just a regular present...
I'm from England and I have to admit that Alan Moore impression was spot on. Hilarious, ha ha.
Oh shit. This was an actual episode of the Justice League cartoon. Awesome to see it's origin.
I'm shocked the broader DC universe doesn't have a serious Black Mercy illicit drug trade problem.
