$35 million budget. Spends $100 bucks on special effects, blows the rest on cocaine. I really can't think of any other explanation.

Alpha Bet your right, since 35 million was worth more back then. This was made in 1984- same year as back to the future. To put the affects into perspective the original star wars had a budget of 11 million in 1975 money, which meant that 11 million was worth a little more than it would by 84 but not to much. This wasnt some no name movie they could have probably gotten ilm to work on the affects. But nope they were done by 5 year olds

August West Yeah, a poor little spelling mistake is a SHAME! Honestly your comment was hilarious: MISTAKES ARE SHAMEFUL!!! And besides, that looks like a stupid autocorrect mistake, the one that corrects everything without any context or logic, and sometimes even well written words! And yeah, I have it: can't get rid of it, have to read everything four times and still some errors slips through, nothing malicious I swear! So please don't SHAME me if that happens*falls on the floors laughing*

Oh yes Helen Slater was such a phenomenal actress... That's why her career ended up going nowhere. Oh wait she made that huge commercial and critical success the legend of Billie Jean LOL. Bwaahahahaha. Wat a putz. Helen Slater was being groomed to be some kind of movie star back in the 80s probably because she was getting on her knees and blowing the right producers. She was mediocre at best as an actress.

Robert Armstrong you are 100% correct. the only "drug" thats gotten better over the years is pot. everything else has taken a nose dive. hell, im 34 and ive seen the quality and quantity of LSD completely drop to almost nothing since my high school days, and the price has gone WAAAAAY up. sheets of really good quality blotter acid in the 90s were $100, and 1 hit was PLENTY. At least in the chicago area thats how it was. Last I heard kids were charging in excess of $10 a hit and it was super dirty. im far too old to be taking that shit any more though. The last time I tripped it was exhausting as hell!

You'll only find only 3-4 mentions ever of them in the comics. Squirt - Think liquid opium. It keeps the Phantom Zone's population docile and addicted. Again it's one of those MacGuffins you only see a couple of time the comic books. To be honest, the DC universe has been retconned so many time these may no longer exists.

@@NostalgiaBrit Really? Good to know she's still got a career, even after starring in this trainwreck. Kind of ironic how she went from being Supergirl to being Supergirl's adoptive mother. Funny how that works. It's not like she didn't do a good job in this movie, but the movie itself was beyond salvaging, as soon as she used her heat vision to bloom a flower. And then, when she used her heat vision normally, I guess? So, Supergirl can change how her heat vision works now? Is it like adjusting the level? So, Superman, can only destroy things with his heat vision? So, she's about creation, and Kal is about destruction? Maybe that's why he's a bad guy in the Injustice games... She was also Talia Al' Guhl too on the Batman Animated series? Didn't know that. But I do love the Batman animated series. I'd love to see another Batman animated series, as good as the ones from the 90's. With Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman again. Glad he's still doing the voice of Batman, even after all this time, from the Batman Arkham games to the straight to DVD/Bluray Batman movies to the Injustice games. I hope he keeps playing Batman, even when he's an old man, like in Batman Beyond. It would kind of come full circle then, wouldn't it?

This is the best part of your channel. My favorite series of your channel because your personality really shines through. I feel people get too know you better and here's why when you do a classic review it's 4 mins on average and you specifically talk about the movie you're reviewing it still has that stuckmann flavor but you have built an audience and people now watch your content to watch YOU not too necessarily hear how good the movie is. BUT with this series you just shoot the shit and give us a fucking great show it's 20 mins of funny stuckmann that everybody loves makes us all feel like we know you and its awesome keep it up!!!!!!!!!!
