He was 1-2 seconds faster than Jett and he would have caught him and Webb if there was 5 more minutes. Tough break for Austin Forkner. That crash was so gnarly. He's had the worst luck. ***APOLOGIES FOR LONG COMMENT - JUST AN AVID FAN*** Dude when I saw Pierce Brown run Dax off the track (yes, Dax should’ve anticipated that a little more. He’s a rookie.), I wasn’t surprised. Pierce does some dumb things. Really sad for Forkner. That guy can’t catch a break. Deegan is always better in the main though. He was hitting his marks and riding within himself. Made that small mistake in the sand when he had the lead under 1 second (I think that lapper caused that mistake), but he was still right there. Whether Forkner fell or not, I think Deegan would’ve ended up getting him before the checkered. Everyone saying Deegan shouldn’t have celebrated that victory is ridiculous. He had no idea the state of Forkner, and it was his very first win. It’s important to show respect for an injured rider, which did, but he also needs to take advantage of the situation media wise. This sport is dangerous dude, if everyone stopped celebrating after someone fell, this sport would be hella dull. Tomac is back though. After hearing him say “tired of being called the old guy - I’m getting better and coming”, dudes.. that had be some pumped to hear. I really appreciated getting an insight into how Tomac is feeling and what his intentions are (HE WANTS TO WIN STILL).
