@GarbagePlateROC EXACTLY, it was a really good race and that rain threw a huge kink in everyone's plans. Luundgard stayed on the slicks, I believe Kirkwood did also and of course Dixon. I was so hoping Rossi could've got the lead and the win. Now even though Dixon is not my favorite at all, unless he was with a different team cause I can't stand Ganassi, he's a master and none of the other drivers know how to save like he does cause he's driven champ cars, the IRL NA cars and now back to turbocharged missiles. Everything is gonna really change up once the hybrid components are put in and the tired start degrading faster cause of the added weight.

One more solid example of the effectiveness and purpose of the aeroscreen. Lundgard's left front would have crushed Grosjean it the aeroscreen was not in place.
A expensive demolition derby. At least the parts suppliers are happy.
9 wins of tying A.J. Foyt! I hope he wins the championship this year so he can tie Foyt in that department

Super fun to visit in person, and for free no less. I'd have zero interest in attending a Belle Isle race
7.34 Herta crashes into Ferrucci under yellow, that was payback!
I watch the Indy series for the totally unnecessary carnage that you can count on like clockwork on every road course. These idiots never disappoint.
Lundgaard should been parked for a race due to ruining nearly a dozen driver‘s race with the same stupid move…
Yet another one lane, twiddly, everything’s a 90 or 180 city’s streets “race” circuit - can’t wait to get back to real circuits
That race was a cluster! Indycar needs to move the Detroit race back to Belle Isle or come up with a better street course.
The start was actually cool to watch in a way. How these cars did not crash on the first lap is amazing. Also, there was a time when IndyCars didn’t have a reverse gear, and more often than not, they needed a push to get rolling because of the lack of low-end torque. Otherwise you would either stall the engine or you’d really have to rev em up to take off. Yeah, I still miss the tiny turbocharged V8’s of the 80’s and 90’s. But I actually like these spec cars of today.
Wat a save by newgarden to avoid those pit crew members
