We are have a very bad winter this year on east coast of Canada. Its just nice to watch other folks videos! Everytime I watch a video I learn something new! Have nice day Thank for sharing your video!! :-)
UPDATE: Long Term Test....We have had our Superclamps now for over a year and have used them on all kinds of terrain. From high speed on the highway to some pretty nasty bush roads. They have held up awesome and are working good as they day we got them...solid well made product that we would highly recommend!

cubbeezx It would be nice to see a crash test with those. I'm sceptical holding on to 300 kg with plastic parts. I always use ratchet ties to feel secure. Takes maybe longer time, but I want to be really sure it's sturdy.

We've used them now for over 3 years and no issues at all! The rear clamps are made of metal and quite heavy. Can't say we've ever "crash tested" them personally.

I'm sure if they are DOT approved they have been crash tested. Can't be any worse than a $25 pack of ratchet straps made in China.

I went to Superclamps site and could not find them anywhere on it. Do they still sell them? /

We found out not that long ago that they do not make them anymore, however they said if you emailed them they may still have a few around
The reviews are great. Hope to see more Trailside reviews from CK. Find them very helpful.

Thanks very much LiquidKTM! Still enjoying our Superclamps all these years later.
Glad you liked the review...they do save a ton of time loading and unloading and protect your quad
Thanks for the awsome trailside review CK and Cubbee! Now, I also have a couple of superclamps lol!
I found a used set on Ebay and have been using them for two years with no problems. Love them

What a great product! Thanks for sharing guys!!
nice job CK [could be a movie star/anouncer] informative and well explained! thank you
Another nice review! CK is a pro at this! Good job on the angle iron braces for rigidity. Thanks for Sharing!!
I've been enjoying your movies since the beginning of your big bear adventures. I broke down today and bought a 2014 grizzly 700. I hope I have as much fun as the two of you. Keep up the great work, play safe... Thank you. :)
Thanks for sharing on how they work. I commented on these in another one of your clips when I saw you use them, and you said you were going to do a review..thank you. It looks like something I would be interested in purchasing for myself as we trailer our atvs all the time, and yes I get sick of the tie downs and worrying about popping a strap over a bump. Let us know how they hold up for you, and how they work in cold temps. Nice job on the advertising clip also, I hope co's have you do mor
i need a set of them. good job CK
Great video! That's a great idea! Great system!
thanks for the reviews you guys do. watching your other videos I was wondering what that system was. Wishing you had a RVS performance reflash review on one of your quads. That is probably my next big mod.
@cubbeezx
7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking out the video! Unfortunately we don't know anything about the "reflash"...might have to look into it...if we could get a bit more "power steering" for the Grizzly.
you just cut you're loading and unloading in half .. more riding time !! lots of good ideas with these clamps . no more tripping over tie downs when the quads are on the trailer deck .. thanks for sharing .
Thanks for sharing. Great video. I think "CK", is a professional. Cubbee got the best here ,"team work", great job. Thanks to both of you. Happy 4th, be safe.
Pretty lady doin the review. How do you like your grizzly. I'm looking at getting the 550 and seems like there both the same bike with exceptions. From what I've researched the grizz is rock solid. Thx cheers from Nova Scotia
that was very professional good job
Ck, another Spot on review, You covered the product well..Cool design and invention.. Here in the states we would for sure haf to Install some sort Theft locking system.. A lot of 4 wheelers, Dirt bikes get stolen when were eating luch headed home..errrr..I always try and park so I can see my rig..lol Nice review CK..
Great review! I love watching the riding videos but I also really like seeing the reviews and the informational videos (adding upgrades and such) I know this is an older video but I was wondering if you guys built your atv trailer or was it bought?
@cubbeezx
8 жыл бұрын
+bamafan4747 Thanks and glad you enjoy the videos! We bought the trailer but totally overhauled it a few years ago. New wood, reinforced and replaced rusted metal.
So....darn....cute. 😊
nice, looks handy. although more than once I've had a tire go low on me during the ride home. Would just one side hold securely enough?
Very good review ,cubbys gonna have to beware as the shopping channel will be after CK for sure lol,
Great review & great idea. Was it hard to set up your clamps, to your trailer, so that the clamps line up right, for the atv's? Thanks for sharing guys. :)
You've sold me. Now . . . just gotta dig into my wallet. lol Thanx for sharin'!
Hey there, when you are out riding do you store all the clamping hardware in the truck, or just leave it on the trailer? ( to prevent theft ) That can was totally looking out for the dogs eh?
Are they expensive? Where did you get them?
I sent an inquiry to the Superclamp website asking about these and it seems they no longer make them ;-( ..............I was trying to find out if there was a way to make them work in a short box pickup with a 2 up Outlander max when the rear wheels are partly on the tailgate

Oh ...we hadn't heard...that's too bad ..we love ours!
Nice Review Guys! Is there an option to permanently mount the front pieces, so that you only have to store the rear ones in your truck? Forgive me, I'm a little late to the party here...been watching your videos for the last month and I'm still finding ones I haven't seen...Super videos by the way!
@cubbeezx

Rob Farrow Thanks Rob. The chocks in the front are designed to come off so not really sure you could permanently attach them. The folks at Superclamp might be able to help with that one. Thanks for spending the time checking out the videos...there are a lot! LOL
R the back bars all metal and great review btw
Thats cool.
Hey is that your guys quads on super clamps Facebook page????

Our trailer is 8x10 and it was originally bought to move snowmobiles. It has worked very well but with the Grizzly and Outlander...could be a bit bigger...enclosed would be nice too LOL
Nice!!!
Nice review CK ... the clamps look awesome. THANKS for shar'in how they work !! ... Oh yeah, fair camera work there Cubbee !! ... HAHAHAHAHA !!
How long dose it take to put it on one quad.
I like it I want some but not shour how expensive theys are the video was great your friend and fan mark

We have had them now for a number of years, and well worth the money. Saves so much time loading and unloading..more time for riding! Thanks for watching Mark.
Ok, looks like it would take up a lot of space (bulky) inside my truck after i arrive at the trails and removed them from the trailer because of theft worries, plus I don't see how I can have my snowplow on if i needed it, also looks expensive. But, looks cool.
@cubbeezx

Thanks for checking out the video. The Superclamps are the kind of "accessory" that once you have them, you wonder how you ever managed without them! Save so much time loading and unloading it is unbleivable. You're right though...if you have a snowplow on, don't think there is anyway it would work.
Now there's a pretty lady, thanks for the review.

Cubbee, do you remember how much was set cost?
@cubbeezx

They were around $500 (I think) it was a while ago....they don't make them anymore (cost was a factor) but apparently there are a few sets left available for purchase direct from the company ..superclamp.net
Hi, seeing as though your ATVs have licence plates on them does that mean it is legal for you guys to drive them on roads if you wanted to?
@JackG79
4 жыл бұрын
Idk how it is in the Province that they live in, in Canada.... but I live in NY State in the US. And I have a license plate on my ATV , and they mail me a registration renewal sticker each year that I pay the renewal fee. If your ATV is not registered and kept current in NY you cannot ride on any state trails amd most ATV clubs will not allow u to ride on their trails, or sign up for events. The plate does not allow the machine on public roadways here in NY It simply means that it is registered with my local DMV, and that it is insured. (Must be insured to be registered). I have heard that there are some places in New Foundland that allows ATVs on roads. And I think some US states may allow it if the machine is outfitted for it.. but a simple lice se plate does not grant that authority here in NY State
Yeah, I'll bet Cubbee said Thanks ... HAHAHAHAHAHA !!
500 dollars, i gotta stick with 7 dollar straps right now but nice review!
Man wish I had the money to buy a set of those
Mrs.Cubee is a Cutie

looks like it would work better then tie downs

Too bad!
The Tick Ninja with the Super Clamp, thats what the ticks say anyway....
so you don't need no tie down straps
The only concern I would have about these clamps is that although they appear to prevent rolling forward and backward very well, would be side to side movement. I assume clamping them down as tightly as possible keeps them from sliding sideways. I'm also a bit skeptical about anything plastic or composite. Yes, many times it can be stronger than steel but steel will bend before it breaks, composite will crack and then can suddenly fail. That's why I hate composite racks on atvs like Polaris and Can-am use, prefer steel racks. When you see very heavy loads like a bulldozer on a semi-trailer for example, steel chains are used. But I guess the same can be said for tie-down straps, they can get frayed and snap. Happened once to me, the only thing keeping the atv on the trailer was the parking brake. Don't even have a trailer anymore, just haul in the back of the truck. Another great review from CK, always nice to see her on camera.

All good points Greg, but after using these now for a full year and taking them on all kinds of terrain we can honestly say they are amazing. They do not move at all, forward/sideways...ATV's are solid on the trailer. The clamps are really heavy and made of high quality material. No doubt anything can break but so far we have been really happy with them.
@gregrowe1168
10 жыл бұрын
That's true, that's kind of why I like trailers with sides and a rear gate, just in case of worst case scenario. If something breaks, you're most likely not going to lose your machine off the trailer. Sounds like a great product and CK is a great salesperson, even if that wasn't the intent. If you test a product and find it to be good, then it passes my test. Another product I'll keep in mind if I ever purchase another trailer.
@joesmo2350
10 жыл бұрын
Yea there's a small possibility that the plastic could fail, but one of the rear holders is so strong, it could probably hold the atv on the trailer even if one breaks. And anything can happen, your trailer could break away from your truck, and then you damage your trailer, atvs, AND your truck.
@gregrowe1168
10 жыл бұрын
The parking brake(if functioning correctly) or park in the transmission as many of the cvt trans have, will keep the atv from rolling back and forth, you just need that extra to keep it from sliding side to side. It does look like a solid product.
Nothing plastic last.You couldn't give me these.Well done video but I'm sorry ,plastic is not going to cut it.Thumbs up buddy.

Thanks for watching! Did want to mention that we have used these now for 4 years and have not had any issues/problems with them at all...they must be made from a special composite as from - 20C to + 20C they are as good as they were on day 1.
