I didnt hear you cover this but maybe bc its something small but id recommend the CJ fuel pump install kit when you order that 340 . Maybe thats a reason your pressure dropped as well in the lines ..

Glad you're learning as you go, installing a beefy fuel pump like that 400lph is going into return fuel system territory, this allows you to feed fuel at higher boost pressure at WOT where fuel demand is at its highest. On a return fuel system, it should be paired with a fuel pressure regulator to stay within spec at idle and light to moderate engine loads. This also allows the tuner to make adjustments as needed when the boost reference is hooked up the the regulator. However the down side on a return system, the excess fuel that isn't used by the engine is hot and goes back to the tank, warming up the fuel in the tank and causing fumes to accumulate and over stuff the evap charcoal canister and tank pressure, you'll hear a hiss when removing the fuel cap. I suggest you look into CJM S1.SE FUEL RETURN, 370Z. Also their fuel hat upgrade to pair with it, jusy my 2 cents. you're doing an awesome job, lots of respect for you man, very humble too. Thanks for the explanation! Fuel return system is an investment I planned to make later down the road. I think the 340 is a better choice for what I'm trying to accomplish. I really don't want to have to add an external fuel filter, as the 450 requires you to cut the stock filter. The issue here was I didn't know how the regulator plumbing worked. I believe in bringing mistakes to light though rather than hiding them. I think there's merit to highlighting what goes wrong so others don't fall into the same hole. Anyway, appreciate the support!

I sort of get what you are going through. I messed with my pump to solve the fuel starvation problem (my car stoped on a track after a long right turn). I ended up having to buy a new fuel pump too. It is flaw by design in many ways.

@@thecarizon504 Cat back exhaust by FI, ECU tune, Installed all new audio to include 8" sub and 6 speakers. Looking at upgraded clutch next and of course will upgrade the brakes to include SS lines when it's time to replace. Thought about forced induction... but that's a serious $$ committment. BTW I have the Sport version, so outside of change diff fluid, I haven't felt the need to upgrade yet. Also went with a little wider wheels in back. It's a fun car with a host of upgrade possibilities. Stay safe and I look forward to seeing how your supercharger install goes.

It's easy to misinterpret instructions sometimes, especially when you are working with a system you've never touched before. Mistakes happen, just trying to be open about it here.
