Tbh this was the best portrayal of any superboy period

I am so depressed that we will not see Joshua Orpin portraying Connor Kent again! He was one of the best things about the Titans show. I also loved Conor Leslie as Donna.

I LOVE the animation movie with ALL the SUPERPETS who in the end get adopted by their counterparts.

0:49 to 1:58. The sound effects for his His Super Speed, Super breath and X-Ray are directly taken from Smallvile. Interesting !

I haven't been able to watch television regularly for years so I must have missed the Titans: that was beyond awesome. I agree, I would love to watch that show. wow.

I remember both, Connor (Superboy, clone of Superman) and Krypto (dog of Superman back in the 1970s). It's nice to see them combined.

Connor Kent(clone of Superman) did not exist as a character in the comics for more than 50 years. Because he is a clone technically in this portrayal he's only a couple of years old despite appearing physically in his late teens or early twenties. He did not appear in comic books until the 1990s after the Death of Superman comics and had been around since then. There was a Superboy and Krypto comic book appearances prior to the 1980s but it was Clark as a teenager which was completely retconned away in Crisis on Infinite Earths in the 80s. Since then Clark Kent has never been portrayed technically as a teenager in costume as Superboy. Despite a couple of appearances on Smallville and vague similes elsewhere, Connor wasn't fully brought to screen until Young Justice animated and Titans live action of which the latter seemed to draw a lot of inspiration from the former in how he was ultimately portrayed on screen. In a nutshell. He is not from the Silver age of comics that you are referencing and is firmly a Bronze Age 1990s introduced character whose origin has only slightly been altered since then. That said I do agree that putting him and Krypto together is genius though that was hinted at in Young Justice with Wolf. I've been out of touch with the comics in the last 10 years or so but I believe the two of them are now paired permanantly in the comics as well. Krypto has been around in one form or another for almost as long as the character Superman has been around even after being retconned out of existence in the 1980s.

you forgott he biggest point conner kent was an imperfect clone of superman, instead of having super strength he had super TK which gave him superman like powers but he didnt have heat vision nor freeze breath etc.

I have never seen Titans, yet - (don't have that streaming) But in this video Conner (Superboy) seems much more like a villain than a hero, beating up cops, killing all sorts of people, even knocking one guys head clean off his neck. Pretty extreme for any "hero". But then I never heard of this Cloned version of Superboy. Obviously he is not cloned down to the same morals and values as the original from the comics. Perhaps is just seems that way with all the scenes taken out of context. But this seems much more like Evil Superboy. Just my two cents.

Titans is such an underrated TV show, probably the best “super” show out there.

umm the same shield that protects his body should also protect his clothes so no his shirt wouldn get damaged,his body isnt invulnerable his exposure to the sun created a milimeter thin shield arround him,thats why he gets vulnerable when exposed to kryptonite it makes his should go away,not manny people realize this about him.
