My gosh, NBC's introduction to this Super Bowl was art.

@@Davidjon1946It was the Cowboys toughest SB opponent in their dynasty run just goes to show how great these 90s Cowboys really were. If cowboys don’t have 3 turnovers to start the game in 94 NFC championship game they very well could have won 4 SB’s in a row. And if Jimmy Johnson was the coach I believe they would have won 4 in a row they were that great.
This maybe the absolute best Super Bowl introduction. RIP Dick.

Without a doubt it is.
The Steelers battled their asses off in this game. At the time, this was the hardest an AFC team had battled an NFC team since the Bills against the Giants in Super Bowl 25. The toughest SB victory for the 90s Cowboys.
1:55 that intro tho *chefs kiss*

Steelers never had the Superbowl...they trailed the entire game. If anything these are the plays where the Cowboys sealed the game.
The Steelers had this game won in the 4th quarter. They had that one chance to go down and score for that comeback and Neil O'Donnell just threw it straight to Larry Brown, TWICE. O'Donnell literally gave Dallas the Super Bowl with those two picks.

Well, I don't know if they would have won, but even I cannot deny those were 2 gifts I gladly accepted and without them probably would have spelled doom. Although it's too simplistic for a fan (talking about myself) to sit here and say "WTF. Neil? You threw it right to him!". That sure is how it looks, but when the defense is blitzing you and you're O-line doesn't make the proper adjustments, you get pressure right in your mug. Couple that with the WR not making the blitz adjustment (which he did not), and Neil throwing to that spot...INT. We still see that very same error today every week almost.

1:47 lol legends will be built and they show Neil O'Donnell oh yeah legend throwing it right to the other team
Steelers fan here. I thought this game would go down to the fourth quarter and Pittsburgh would wear down Dallas and take them apart. What happened to Pittsburgh against San Diego in 1994 was the reason why I had the Steelers winning this one. It just didn't work out.

I'm a dallas fan. Neil O'Donnell is the only reason dallas won. Steelers had them... this game was the end of the dynasty

If O Donnell had just held on to the ball a second longer on that 2nd INT and looked downfield he could have thrown a 70 yard touchdown to Hastings and Pittsburgh might lead 24-20.
It's funny how enberg tried to Reason with the first int saying O'Donnell threw it off target and high because he throws it while falling back. The on the second one he just simply said brown had the ball thrown to him when you can see on the tape that there is a receiver that way the ball was just under thrown.
I know people hate Dallas and their fans (me), but they shouldn't. We are an embarrassment. An after thought. Once feared and owning a true home field advantage (Texas Stadium), we now have zero home field advantage and no one is concerned playing us. It's all very sad. To only have memories after our glorious history is sobering. I hated Jerry when he bought the team...mostly because he fired Tom Landry, which felt like someone slapping my own mother. But he did give me the best years of my life, but it's so far in the past that I now believe the only way for us to resurrect and rebuild the franchise more in the vein of Pittsburgh, we must have Jerry and his family out of the way. I'm afraid the TV deals, marketing money and such are all the Jones care about.
# 91 Kevin Greene 🖤💛💙🖤 is the only player I know of, that went from one team to another, just to get Revenge on the Dallas Cowboys.

And failed. But he WAS a coach for the Green Bay Packers when THEY beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV.
I have to give credit where it’s due…I had the Cowboys winning by 21-24 points. Shitsburgh made it a game though, they played their balls off against a much better team.
Whenever the Super Bowl is in Arizona, you can book a NFC East appearance : Super Bowl 29 : Cowboys Super Bowl 42 : Giants Super Bowl 57 : Eagles (Super Bowl 49 Seahawks broke the streak)

15:00 "...and Brown again not even near the play, the ball thrown right to him!" O'Donnell threw the game. He was way down his bets with his bookie.

He cost them that game for sure. I was so mad at him. Then he signed a big contract with the Jets the next year and never did jack squat the rest of his career.

Neil O'donnell was definitely paid. I wonder how much it took to pay him
If Greg Lloyd hadn’t suffered those grueling injuries during his prime as a Steeler in 1987,88, & 1996 He would have been inducted to canton

Yeah, it's as if people forgot he existed. Lloyd was top 3 defensive player in the NFL in the mid 90s.
Somehow both Larry Brown AND Neil O'Donnell got overpaid as free agents after this game. I swear if I didn't know better I would be certain O'Donnell took a dive.

It wouldn’t surprise me. He threw it right to Brown with no Steelers WR close and then the next year signed a big contract with the Jets. His career went downhill from there on out
Since that season, Dallas has not even reached the Conference round.
Am I imagining things or did NBC really use the music from the movie Gettysburg?
14 TREW THE GAME
#14 was playing for Dallas - he knew was leaving for the JETS
Gettysburg soundtrack!!
Larry Brown the MVP!!
Unlike the eagirls this year Dallas knows how to the game in AZ😆
Sounds more like the opening of the PGA championships than it does a Super Bowl grudge match.
