KZread's zoom feature is quite handy for seeing what you're doing.

I carved quite a few of them even in mega pencils I took another pencil on moustache to darken it and colour eyes in 👍🇬🇧🐾🦊

Can you do the sanding on the smooth parts like the cheeks, forhead and nose before you carve in the fine lines like the hair ? Love your work.....Be well and be safe🦜

Is the pencil a standard size or a jumbo

If you could use a painted pencil instead of a natural wood pencil I think your cuts would show up better. For me they are a little hard to see. Otherwise, it is a great tutorial.
