Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Review - The Final Verdict

Sega's Super Monkey Ball series is over two decades old and given how critically acclaimed the first three entries were, a prolonged decline of any kind would be unimaginable. Nevertheless, it happened, but recent titles have shown an uptick in quality. Among these, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is perhaps the best.
Despite the almost non-existent storyline, Adventure Mode goes back to what it's all about - stage after stage of tense platforming and banana collecting. Despite their length, Banana Rumble's 200 stages feel unique, with interesting hooks and memorable aesthetics.
Whether Super Monkey Ball died after the launch of Deluxe or you're seeking a compelling arcade platformer, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is worth checking out. The franchise still has a ways to go, but it's still a fun time.

I hope at some point in the future, Sega will add Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble onto the other consoles.

Good review. Never played. Monkey ball game but they look interesting
7/10 is the perfect rating
I have to wonder why it didn’t get a multi platform release. Is it possibly because it’s a timed Switch exclusive?

If you want an official answer, in an interview they said it was to focus test the online component as densely as possible for the largest demographic of Monkeyball players. If successful they'll get it running across all planforms.

I hate the graphic style it looks very mobile game. I like the world design in super monkey ball 1 and 2. The world design in this one makes it seem like the background world is just a flat image pasted into the background idk it just looks out of place.
Stage 2 and 3 music slaps, get out of here with that
