I have to turn the chat off. I get so sick of comments like "nobody wants this" and "what is this garbage". As if they speak collectively for millions of people. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But don't try to speak for everyone or assume that because something isn't your taste that everyone feels the same way. I think covid causing delays in games and releases to be fewer and more spread out only made things worse. Not the fault of the companies and creators. But it's created a lot more whining.

my favorite part is how they spent like 5 seconds on all the games past deluxe

I need to know if the story, especially the cutscenes from 2 & deluxe will return and not just the levels!

I'm super excited, but the jumping at 0:52 makes me sad :( Hopefully there's a way to play without that. The SMB1/2 levels weren't designed for jumping.

I mean i don't think you HAVE to jump. It seems the levels are the exact same so since they weren't designed for jumps you could probably go through the game without jumping, and its probably just added for fetuses who don't know how to play video games to make it easier

@KammyKat The thing is, lives are one of the things that makes Monkey Ball (I have only played the first so I am basing it off that) great. Like it isn't supposed to be easy and the challenge comes with managing to clear a mode without getting a continue. In the Japanese and Pal versions, the version I have, to unlock the Extra Levels, you need to beat a mode without dying once. It is truly insanely hard but the satisfaction of doing it is so worth it in the end.

@@TheZebbga I only played the second one growing up; there's a Story Mode where you need to clear 10 levels in any order to advance to the next set, and you can try them as many times as you need without penalty. There's also Challenge Mode which falls more in line with the first game but I could never get very far.

@@uglybad4 Ah, well there was no story mode in the first one. It was just Beginer with 10 floors, Advenced with 30 floors and Expert with 50 floors. I can do Beginer and Advance but I can only get to floor 7 on Expert. But once you have plyed the level, you can practice it as much as you want on practice mode and you can eventually unlock unlimited Continues. But if you die you still don't unlcok the extra floors.

The reference works on so many levels: - The baby in 2001 is in a ball and AiAi is in one too. - The first part of the film is focused on monkeys. - Super Monkey Ball came out in 2001.

I can’t wait to see how Dr. Bad-Boon looks after the monkeys have been remastered for 15/20 years.

For anyone on here who has never played a MB game...You don't understand the fun and the difficulty that these gems carry. These were SOOO fun back in the day and i'm happy that they're being brough back. A great game to get if you're looking for something a bit different, casual, and cute.

All of the stages in the game are beatable without jumping since the original games didn't have jumping, so you could just not press the jump button

When I saw AiAi I just got so much nostalgia. Sega saved E3, Monkey Ball, and Sonic Colors Ultimate.

I had a heart attack seeing this. My god it's been forever. We fans may be a small group but we are dedicated to waiting. It's finally paid off!

Finally. Super Monkey Ball Deluxe on a Nintendo system. I just hope the jumping is OPTIONAL in this game. Play this in classic or with newer controls because the jumping mechanic from Banana Blitz breaks all the earlier stages before it.

I like the older artsytle better. They made the monkeys look weird and doll-like

Folks, go to the timestamp and use the , and . keys to move forwards and backwards frame by frame, make that determination yourselves. I just don't see how they could possibly consider this a remaster if they added jumping, there are so many stages that would be completely and utterly broken by it.
