Dude, this is so nice. It’s like the animated trailers and opening Sonic Mania got. They don’t have to but I would love an update where this opening played whenever you started the game or waited on the title screen like in Mania.

I like how Sonic is cameoing as both a nod to his inclusion as an unlockable character and Tyson Hesse being the cheeky chad he is, given he animated this... I think?

By far my favourite part of new games of old SEGA franchises are the amazing animations that come with them. Also adding Sonic and Tails was a great touch!

Love how they used the Sonic Mania Adventures style. Very perfect and I wanna see more animations like this in the future as it gives these kinds of videos more charm.

I like how they added Sonic and Tails in the animation and at the gameplay showcase after that, like they're essentially part of the cast rather than guests.

Dang the animation in this trailer is really good, hopefully they at least have a way to view it in the game.

1:12 I love how not only were they able to include Sonic and Tails but also having Sonic playing the original Monkey Ball arcade cabinet! I really wish this animation was able to get into the game somehow but I'm glad it's readily available on KZread!

Oh? Was not expecting a beautiful animation. It'd be cool if Story Mode was animated.

If i had a nickel for every time I saw an animated launch trailer for a game with mania in the title with music produced by hyper potions, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

@@Adzcantsing Yeah, the only way to win now is by being methodical. You need to immediately open the ball once you're off the platform and try to maintain speed after a few seconds. On PC there's at least a mod for the old physics.

Yes. This is video game history. Everyone will remember October 5th 2021 as the day super monkey ball came out. It's not like there is a major Tom Clancy announcement or anything.

I'm just so confused why this wasn't the opening of the game, it's so good!

It really means a lot to me that the original style of SMB gameplay is being preserved, even if it's no the exact game I had for GameCube 18 years ago. I'm glad that another generation of kids will be able to grow up with this classic the way I was able to.

Between him, diddy kong, and captain falcon (just to reference the fact that the monkey ball and yazuka creator made F-zero GX) would make great guest characters.

Been playing this like crazy all weekend. I love it so much.

My only wish for this game is main game multiplayer in a patch. Ive played it for 5 days and its good (digital deluxe). But that main game multiplayer as well as dlc characters for party games is a must

I was only 6 years old when Monkey Ball 1 and 2 first came out on the Gamecube. Looking forward to revisiting these games very soon! (Also looking forward to playing as Morgana, haha.)

This is super cool! I didn’t think they’d do a monkey ball animation but they did and now I’d love to see a light hearted mini series like this. I’d say a show but I don’t know enough about monkey ball to know if they have enough story to do something like that.
