According to Shiro Mouri: "The area of the blocks is large and it was impossible to develop a strategy of how to avoid enemies, so it just turned into a game of making a mad dash for the end. Literally though- the dev Wonder yell goes hard- I hope it's still in the game files so I can isolate it from the other sounds just to hear.

Personally this Mario model looks way too silly, even for Mario. I don't know how to explain it, but he just looks much more cartoony than before with the eyes and exaggerated chubbiness. I like the modern design more, given he's an active superhero. And it'd also contrast his current image by introducing a retro-esque design in a mainline game. I think it'd be nice in maybe a spinoff or something though.

Super Mario Bros Wonder is a wonderful game.

Huh, it's nice to see early footage of this game. It's kinda a shame that there's no slide wonder effect in the final game, and the 8 bit mario getting decapitated is... definitely interesting. oh, and the game used to have score.

​@@fco64it's more so they word things incorrectly The final game as a general package is better than any beta version, however there's many things people wish that were never removed from the betas, or updated I'm pretty sure someone would rather play a modified version of the final game with that older artstyle and those wonder effects than the actual beta

This still has the score counter so therefore it is automatically better than the final game.

while the beta design is cool i do not see it even remotely fitting the style of the final game
