If you listen real close to the flower wonder effect in the released version, the beta wonder sound effect is still there just a lot quieter at the end

@@davidthecommenter her smb1-3 sprites don’t have blonde hair because the palettes couldn’t have 5 colors. The box arts for each game show her with blonde hair.

Fun Fact: the placeholder graphic for wonder seeds is actually a gem apple from the Kirby Clash Series. This includes Team Kirby Clash, a sub game to Planet Robobot, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, this being the sub-game turned into a full fledge one, and Super Kirby Clash, a remake of the original game for the Switch.

I think Mario’s design in the final game is a great mix between the modern design and the old one! I’m not too bummed that they didn’t stick with the beta model

it would've been cool if we could hear "WONDEEEEER" with the sound off badge equipped

Riley, it's not really "lost" if they have the prototype and are showing it off. The better way to say it is "Mario Wonder prototype you can't play", but views matter.

Yoshi DOES use his older design. So they probably created the Yoshi model sometime when the early Mario model existed.

64 era Mario is actually based on Yoichi Kotabe Mario in fact! But it was based on the Post 1992 iteration and was jank, whilst wonder beta is based on pre-92'

I would say 0% lol i would love wonder dlc but i think theyre more focused on another game atp

They actually didn’t remove the wonder voice clip. They put a million voice effects over it and that’s what you hear in the final game.

I like the animation from the beta

The surfing wonder effect is way too good on being cut out of the finished version of the game

The wonder voice is in the game but it is very silent

Mario’s design although cool has kinda become generic, seeing he’s older more cartoonier design buying considered gives me enough hope that we might see that old design back.

I don't remember where i read it, but i think the giant 8bit mario head got removed because instead of offering an interesting challenge the player would just rush to the end to avoid being eaten by those enemies. Also, i don't agree that one of the wonder effects should be turning the game into 8 bit or 16 bit, we already got that with mario maker and i completely done with the nostalgia pandering

I think the guy shouting wonder is in the final game its just really hard to hear
