Now I wish the New Donk City band played other songs as well. Not just the same classic Mario theme, but like every time you walked into the City Hall, they'd play a different song, all randomised, ya know?

Actually I think what he means is that they changed the bassline to the super mario underground theme. Now that is smooth!
I love how the guy on the saxophone ques his mates at 3:03 that his solo is about to end! They’re all so coordinated. !
Sax solo just blew the others out of the water 😂😂

@Logan Yes culture. If you don't understand, look at the definition.
@OrthodoxyACR

@Logan Also "the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society." Video game culture does exist. It built itself to something amazing, sometimes weird. Just like every other CULTURE. By definition, it is correct.

This is easily my favorite arrangement of the Bomb-omb battlefield theme from Super Mario 64. The style of the music from the game really fits the treatment it gets from this band's style of jazz/soul music.

A song from my childhood which has always felt tailor-made for jazz bands, performed live by a jazz band and featuring the smoothest solos I've ever heard. And to top it off, the album it's on is a punny Miles Davis reference. You gentlemen have earned an instant fan with this number. Keep up the amazing work!

Super Soul Bros. I want you to know how I found out about you: I was watching the Big House 6 smash tournament, and I was expecting the usual uninspired electro-remixes of VGM for pause music. Instead I got these vibrant fusion renditions, obviously performed by a live band of great competence (and with a remarkable guitar player, please give him/her my regards!). I imediately searched your channel out and subbed.

Really a great song to hear when my day is off to such a bad start. Thanks!
The heart and soul of Mario: The music.
This is one of the very best pieces of content that I have ever seen. I have seen so many countless hours of videos and listened to so many countless hours of music. I'm not even really a gamer. I'm serious. The impact that this video had on me in immeasurable. My day, and perhaps even my week, have been improved thanks to the quality of this video and the excellence of the performers, as well as the writers of the original piece. I cannot tell you how happy watching this video made me.
This is absolutely AMAZING, Never lose this fantasstic style... this right here is WHY I subscribed to you guys... LOVE IT!!!!
4:24 I can't with that piano. I love it
I have an advantage over the people that saw it live, and that’s the fact that I can listen to it as many times as I want! Good thing too, cuz this song is WELL worth repeating!!
...I'd drop by a concert like this in a heartbeat!
This sounds like it could be a TV show! That's how seasons this sounds!!
I wanted to hear that trumpet hit a higher octave around the descending hook but regardless an amazing performance
how dare you be this good and have this much fun?!
Where has this been all my life? This is the most amazing piece of music I’ve ever heard. Well done!
Koji Kondo would be proud. Well done guys! I'm crying rn ..
This song was clearly a part of my childhood. Spent hours playing Super Mario 64!
If Nintendo opened a jazz place like this I would literally move to Japan and go there every night

I love that the bass in the chorus plays the Underground theme
The ending is pure happiness and having fun at the stage!!! This is freakin amazing!
You guys are literal gods. I always come back to this video when I'm listening to video game music.
I swear this is what Mario 64 sounded like the first time I popped in the cartridge.
Breathtaking performance!
There are no words that I can describe how amazing this is.
This arrangement has so much character to it! Not to mention the amazing style of the players! Keep giving me the feels soul brothers!
I see some people having WAY TOO MUCH FUN on stage! Keep that up!
I have never subscribed to a channel so quickly, the sound hits you so fast, and it immediately feels right.
This is so good thank you for blessing my ears!!!
