That's the level you'd expect from any professional orchestra pianist, not selling it short because that environment is a very high standards one.
I am from Seville, possibly the place where flamenco and Semana Santa traditions are strongest in Spain. There are parts in this track where I can almost smell the incense as I listen to the trumpets. The documentation work in this version is fantastic, beyond words. And it goes without saying that, even without the accurate representation such a wide range of styles from spanish music, this would still come out as a magnificent arrangement. Standing ovation!!!

@@meltingautumn867 no. You’re wrong. The double thirds scale alone isn’t something just ‘anyone can play’. I’m gonna assume you don’t actually play piano, or if you do, not enough to accurately judge the difficulty of something just by watching it. Because your comment is so off-base it’s comical.

I've heard this arrangement by 8-bit Big Band before, but connecting the flow of the song to this animatic was executed perfectly! Great art, too.
WHAT IN HYLIA’S NAME, I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!!! It’s been known that this was coming since your live shows, but I’ve been curious, especially recently, on why it was taking so long. Granted I knew it was a longer piece, however I wasn’t expecting _the entirety of the Gerudo Desert Arc from Ocarina of Time to be animated._ You all continually surpass my expectations each and every time, and my only wish is that I could’ve listened to this sooner! Gosh, I can only imagine you guys doing Twilight Princess’ Hyrule Fields theme, or a Banjo-Kazooie track. This is probably the only version that is actually truly better than the original flamenco guitar version from the N64 soundtrack. The composition and arrangement for this piece are just unparalleled. I find myself here listening to this again and again. Absolutely fantastic work by everyone in the band.
Man the Brass put in work in this band. I wish we could get something featuring them this heavily again.
That opening D7 piano run was like a late Romantic concert etude in miniature. Absolutely loved it, and loved the whole performance.
can't believe that nobody i've seen has commented on this yet, but i absolutely adore the way that the music reflects the story being told through the animation.
IT JUST GETS BETTER EVERY TIME I HEAR IT JESUS this song deserves a grammy
“Hey I’m in an orchestra” “Oh, cool what do you play?” “......the claps”
That was the most epic sandwich I've ever made. More seriously, the art really adds to this, you can really feel the story playing out through the music as it changes pace and tone.
I live in Portugal, and despite this being clearly geared towards giving more Spanish vibes, I still hear it almost like one of our "Passo Dobrados", definitely something I could see our Filarmonic Orchestra playing. Amazing job!
The best way to start my day.
PIANO MASTERY! She's incredible
That build up to "Malagueña" gave me all the major feels. My band nerd self is happy.

Caballeros, es hora de coger nuestras espadas maestras y reconquistar las Indias Now, seriously speaking, I can't believe I've ignored this cover for so long. It's amazing and probably some of your best work.
the biggest mistake was locking up link with all his gear
The Malagueña sampling at 3:43 is *chef's kiss*.
At first, I thought the Malagueña vibes were accidental but then it turned into the mashup I literally never would have thought I wanted, I'm glad this is in my life
And once again, here I'm listening this masterpiece, I'm so grateful to live in the same time of The 8-Bit Big Band
I LOVE this arrangement! Goose bump moment watching this song as the finale of live concerts by the 8- Bit Big Band!!
