Me too! I'm just glad that I have the ability to grow a patio garden for now 😉.

I am amazed every time I watch your videos. You are so knowledgeable about gardening. I can't even comprehend some of the stuff you talk about. No, really. I knew about the white/black/clear plastic, but never in a million years would I have imagined soil temperature would affect the growth other than if it was frozen it probably wouldn't be good. I can learn so much, yet, it doesn't seem to stick with me. I'll have to make this one of my saved videos!

Thank you my friend. Actually, I could totally say the same about your videos. I am constantly getting ideas about my home rehab 😁. That is exactly why I do this though, to teach, and to learn 😉.

Just make sure that the soil stays moist. My plants have an irrigation system. They are watered every day.

What a great idea! However I'm not sure we have clear plastic bags in my country (or my area). Would the new ecofriendly semi-transparent bags they give when buying produce also work? They are supposed to be biodegradable so I'm afraid they would decay and not serve the same purpose. xx

It is totally worth a try. Biodegradable doesn't mean it will break down right away. At long as you can see through the bag(even if it is not crystal clear) it should be able to collect and hold heat. Good luck ❤️.

You can also use a plastic film. Just use some bamboo sticks as a frame to wrap the plastic around

What's the green thing you used? Also, I used zip block bags. Would I seal those completely?

The green things were a garden arch that I had gotten from the dollar store. I have used 3 sticks in a tp fashion though... Just something to keep the plastic away from the plants. Seal as much of the chilly outside air away from the plants as you can.
