Suomalainen kansansävelmä, jouhikko & Hare Krishna-mantra | Karelian bowed lyre & Vedic mantra

Perinteinen suomalainen kansansävelmä jouhikolla soitettuna ja Hare Krishna-mantralla siivitettynä.
_____________________
We had been cleaning the forest next to our home and burning away branches in a bonfire, and then next day as I was walking by, it was still smoking and looked so mystical, that I got myself a chair and jouhikko and made a little recording in this rather archaic view. In the background you can also hear gunshots thanks to our neighbors who were practicing for the upcoming moose-hunting-season. 😢
This is a traditional Finnish melody played with jouhikko (Karelian Bowed Lyre) and sung with a Vedic mantra for deliverance and joy: the Hare Krishna-mantra. 🎵
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare
I'm really into Vedic culture and philosophy, and practice daily Krishna consciousness. I also love the old ways of all human cultures, wherein I find much more dignity and purpose. Since a kid I've been also very tuned in to nature and Finnish lore.
Thanks for listening! Hare Krishna!
___________________________
Hare Krishna-mantra sopii laulettavaksi kaikkien kahdeksanjakoisten laulujen päälle, joita on monia! Kokeile vaikka! 😄
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare
❤️
"Bhakti-joogan menetelmä on joogamenetelmistä korkein, ja tässä menetelmässä Herran nimien laulaminen on antaumuksellisen palvelun aktiviteeteista etummaisin. Pyhää nimeä laulamalla voidaan saavuttaa nirvāṇan taso, eli vapautus aineellisesta olemassaolosta, ja näin lisätä elämän nautinnollisuutta henkisen olemassaolon tasolla, kuten Herra Caitanya kuvailee: ānandāmbudhi-vardhanam*. Tässä olotilassa aineellinen rikkaus, kuninkaallinen valtaistuin tai edes koko planeetan hallitsijuus eivät herätä mitään mielenkiintoa. Tätä tilannetta kutsutaan 'viraktir anyatra syāt' (SB 11.2.42) - tämä on antaumuksellisen palvelun tuloksena."
- Srila Prabhupada

Reminds me of vedic demigods living on heavenly planets... though that is definitely not Finland, at least not during winter... 😄 What is funny about sanskrit, is that every language of the world has similarities or same words with it... it is the mother-language, making also the vedic culture origin of other cultures. Interesting!

I'm singing Hare Krishna - mantra, which is also called maha-mantra, meaning that it contains ALL the mantras in it, and is very powerful. It is from veda-science. It can be chanted for many purposes, but the most important is to awaken love for Supreme Personality of God - Krishna - and His pleasure potency / energy / Goddess Srimati Radharani. To remember that we are small part of them, a servant of the complete whole. And the mood is like that of a children crying for its mother - please let me serve You again.

  • @gopalalaakso

Interesting question! What it does not have to do with Krishna? The first thing and original sound in the creation was Aum, vibrated by Krishna, and everything emanated from that. Krishna is the supreme cause all causes, absolute, and through His energies has created all the spiritual and material universes, including one tiny planet called Earth, where is one tiny continent called Europe, where is one tiny country called Finland. 🙃 Krishna is not just some mythological god from India, but actually He is _the_ god. Some religions know little bit about god, and focus mainly on moral etc., and in some religions there is also more detailed descriptions of Him and His activities. He is not just some guy sitting on top of a cloud and throwing lightings and punishing people. All religions talk about same god. If you are interested, you can study vedic literature and find out more.🤓

By chanting the holy name, one can attain the level of nirvāṇa, or liberation from material existence, and thus increase the enjoyment of life at the level of spiritual existence, as described by Lord Caitanya: ānandāmbudhi- vardhanam*.
