I had no idea what genre of music I was even in for when I clicked on this; I just saw the thumbnail and thought "grainy 4:3 film video and skimpy pulp-fantasy type costumes? Sign me up!" but damn, this is _awesome!_ Love this kind of melancholy grungy sound, and the aesthetic is everything I aspire to be!

@@ms.ggrose It used to be in the 80s, 90s, and 00s. But now. I wouldn't say so. Metal has faded from the mainstream since the last decade and has become the music of the outsider or the hermit. Exactly what it used to be in the 70s. Sure you have bands such as Suicidal Angels or Firewind but no matter how many arenas these guys pack, they aren't hit makers and you don't have to know anything about them if u don't want to, so..

As an old bloke brought up on prog rock/metal, this warms me cold heart. Pleases me so much to hear this, I’m an instant fan.

Despite whatever genres and aesthetics people are going to box this in with over and over again; This is actually pretty cool. I can't put my finger on what it is, but I definitely see some direction that's more inspired than just wanting to replay old looks. It's unique, and the music is honest. Great stuff.
