@@therishabhdhiman A 4090 draws 330 watts max. You're not gonna power the fan directly into the motherboard just like you wouldn't a large GPU. Any power supply can output 16 amps directly.

Уверен ошибаетесь. Показания завышены. По тойже причине как если бы использовался тянущий проп. В обоих случаях эффект близости земли с разницей лишь как: либо воздушная подушка, либо вакуум. Платформа действительно мешает, но создается вакуум и атмосфера дополнительно прижимает этот двигатель. Физика наука не простая, но понимать ее надо.

@@bot_N666 Атмосфера прижимает двигатель к платформе, но как раз и платформа принжимается той же атмосферой к двигателю, так что этот фактор (вакуум) не влияет в части давления на сам рычаг весов...

Also a longer format. 680g Vs 1.44lbs Maybe if it's was displayed as 0.68kg your way would be more concise 🤷🏻‍♂️ It weighs a certain amount of grams. And thrusts a certain amount of grams so it's simpler to work out it's thrust to weight ratio in kg. 2 motors would be 1360grams 1.36kg of lift to double the weight of the motors. Extremely simple. Same with Celsius and Fahrenheit. When Americans talk about coolant temps being at 180 and i'm like 😲😲😲 Then I remember you don't go by freezing point and boiling point to keep it simple 🤦 85°C safe coolant temp... 100°C boiling... Do something about it.. 0°C frost... Anything below that is cold af... It's like asking your pal how many cookies he has left and instead of saying 6 he says 21.7 🤯🤯

Also much clearer for those that live in a scientifically uneducated area like the USA. What's easier to understand? 332,519,000 cubic miles of water in the oceans on earth. 680,000,000,000,000,000,000 Kilgrams of water in the oceans on earth. One of those is more concise than the other. So yes, it's demonstratably more concise and easy to understand, especially for those not used to using grams. What I don't understand is why you decided to make a huge deal out of me translating this for those that don't understand grams.

It probably doesn’t matter for what you’re doing, but I suspect you’d get higher thrust numbers if you had some sort of a stand to hold the motor up away from the scale and desktop. I think that’d let more air get in around the back of the propeller.

Nope. The fan is pushing downwards on the scale. It isn't sucking air from the back.

@@adityag.5372 He’s measuring the thrust from the prop, so it’s forcing the motor body down against the scale. If the thrust were reversed (such that he was measuring the force of the air hitting the balance pan, the motor/propeller would lift off from the scale. To generate thrust pushing against the scale pan, the propeller has to be gathering air from the back (from below) and throwing it out the front (upward). I’m pretty certain that’s what’s being done. (Also note that the orientation of the propeller is flipped, between the shot on the scale and when he attaches it to the plane.)

Who cares? The game isn't to get the highest numbers on a scale, it's to fly a plane. If he uses the same setup for different motors and props, he'd still get accurate RELATIVE data anyways. These static thrust numbers are meaningless anyways in the real world under normal conditions unless you are hovering.

I been using 2 of these, but 4980kv version of this motor same dimensions. They spin a 12 inch prop like butter on my long range wing build on 2cell lipo pack.

Its even called "prop saver". Same performance, at least 5 times lower chances of braking prop. The only downside - it doesnt look good.

Propellers don't need space to create thrust. You change the pitch/angle of the blade and rotational speed for that.

@@ebbeweber1310This is actually very low power in the RC world. More like 10-15 minutes for a plane/motor like that using a batter that weighs under 50 grams. It's an F3P motor. They are designed for INDOOR planes.
