I would love to see you fish the 80m to 100m marks and see how you go.

If I get good wind I’m ok to go wide. I’ve got a few mask on direction bank but 80m would be out past that

Hi Scott, do you anchor and burley when casting for the kings ?
@Saltfix
4 ай бұрын
We anchor if it’s a likely looking spot or if we see activity. But we move around a lot . Kings will move with the bait schools . It’s best to have one driving and one casting and prospect your way around the reefs

What brand rods are you using Scott? I want to get a new rod soon. What do you think of Ugly sticks? Ive had one for years and its been bloody good

I use mostly daiwa stuff rods are 7ft Aird for 20pd A team daiwa 7ft pe 4-6 saltwater for heavier stuff And Lee used a shimano t curve on the wreck. Ugly stick are tough but I think once you fish a lightweight graphite rod you will see the difference to fibreglass Go to your local tackle shop and speak to them, hold a few in your hand and feel out what fits you best
