idk why everyone wants to put wolf turns into their beam and floor routines. It always includes at least a minor balance check, usually very noticable.

im just gonna say it and im not trying to invalidate suni in any way shape or form but the scores to win AA now vs the 2016/2012 olympics jas changed massively. These are around the scores kyla ross would get in the national championship (I think she scored higher before) and she had one of the lowest AA scores in the whole fierce five squad. It's just crazy how the scoring system changes throughout the years.

Funny thing is that the highest All around score of the games still came from Simone, followed by Viktoria Listunova, both of whom did not participate in the AA final.

​@@DeepSeas.. kyla would get around a 56.5-57 with this code of points, granted she was only on the fierce five for bars and beam, and was the weakest member for the team for AA (tied with mkayla) im just saying gymnasts were clearly at their peak in the 2008 and 2012 quad, and the gymnasts during the other olympic quads were just better. Compare her to aly, gabby or jordyn, Komova or Mustafina. If suni was doing the AA final in 2012 or 2008, she def would not have won. Not trying to take away her win, just saying its crazy how the gymnastics level has changed.

​@@DeepSeas.. for example after watching Kyla's elite routines being scored the 2017-2020 code of points, she still would have scored higher than suni on vault, beam and floor, its the bars that did it for suni. Idk it's just so crazy to me how the gymnastics level has changed, because if suni was competing in the 2012 or 2008 olympics she never would have made AA finals, even with the code of points change. In my opinion the world had the best gymnasts from 2007/2008-2013/2014, thats when gymnastics clearly peaked scoring wise.

Her bar routine was grossly overscored in this meet.So many form issues.

Her execution score in UB shouldn't be higher than Andrade's. She had more difficulty, but her imperfections were much more visible. Those 2 tenths made the AA gold change its owner

The reason she scores higher in execution has two reasons, she has less elements and handstands to get deductions in because everything is connected, and the second reason in Andrades pirouettes were likely .3 deductions because she pikes her hips extremely early, making her handstands big deductions. Also sunis bars look way better from the side.
