All the skeleton wants to do is show someone his bone collection, but every time he tries they just end up dying. He's tried to keep them alive with cheerful music but nothing works, and the more people he kills, the more impressive and interesting the collection becomes. It's a viscous cycle that both the victim and the skeleton are trapped in :(

Pipboy3004 but how come it took 500 days to get to the bone collection and it just took 2 seconds to get back to earth....?

Lucas Henson Well you know those car toys where you pull them back and let them go, they drive off in one direction? Well the skeleton's car is like that, he leaves Earth, winds the car back for 500 days, and when he finally releases it it shoots off so fast it tears a hole through time and space and he gets back to earth in 2 seconds. It's simple science my friend.

The man becomes aware of the fact that he will eventually die. The car ride represents his life up to death, filled with the fear of the inevitability of death. The skeleton knows this, and is sad that it can't be changed, but he has learned to accept it. The skeleton is the main character all along.

This is my favorite of seinfeldspitstain's videos. it shows probably the most emotion in them, even without dialogue. the father/son story was beautiful, but I felt that this had more emotion. you can see the sadness in the skeleton's eyes when he lays his friend down on the planet. all he wanted was to take him for a ride. they would travel the stars. they would explore nebulae. but the skeleton is oblivious to the fact the humans must metabolize. he just wants a friend, but biology stands in his way. truly, one of the most touching stories on youtube. bravo, Bryan Smithee.

Okay, lets get this straight. Real straight. Skeleton man drives a person to kill them every 500 days. I actually counted about 450 victims from his skeleton ball in space. 450*500=225000 225000/366 (again, counting leap year)=614.7/615 2014-615=1399 The first prototype for a car engine was in the late 1800's. He has been driving people. In a car. More than 400 years before cars were invented. what the actual flying fuck.

Life is like a ride in a car, and we're merely the passengers who only get to choose where we sit. As kids, we have the chance to do anything, be anything. But when life comes along and we grow older, our pool of options slowly begins to shrink. By the time we graduate from college or join a trade, all we have left to do is be taken for a ride. There's no option left. If the path you choose after college doesn't work out, or your trade doesn't work out, then it still doesn't matter; the ride gets worse. You have to keep going or else it will be for naught, and to give up would mean to give up years worth of effort.

Probably the melancholic guitar and piano at the end. His deed done, the skeleton sheds a tear- this could signify that he realizes the cycle he is in is a futile one, though he doesn't know anything else; he has no other purpose to fulfill. He returns to that Blue Marble floating through space- we don't exactly know _where_ on that marble, just that he goes back. Eventually he disappears from sight, lost to the void, a figure out of time. Not unlike seinfeldspitstain himself; this was one of the last videos he ever uploaded. The kicker is that he is never coming back. The piano in this video leaves off on a bit of a suspended note; the suspended nature and question of the skeleton, but also of seinfeldspitstain. But the really sad part? The two minutes of this video are the only story that will be ever told of the skeleton. Never anything more, forever; just as the small selection of videos from seinfeldspitstain are all that will ever remain to his name, never anything more, forever. But that's just me. Whatever the reason may be, the depression associated with this video may be subtly the result of there being no spoken dialogue in this video, only ambient sounds and music.

When you really think about it, this whole video was an analogy for death. The skeleton represents the grim reaper, and the man in bed represents us, and the journey from earth to the ball of skeletons ultimately represents our journey from life to death. This video also raises a lot of important questions about the process of death: Why was the grim reaper crying in the end? Why would our journey from life to death need to take so much time? I'm sure all of these question will be pondered upon for years to come. Thank you seinfeldspitstain, you've change my outlook on life and death

That was so deep. Maybe I'm just a dumbass who's reading into this too much but I saw some kind of metaphorical inner meaning in this. I guess some people saw this differently, but to me this looked like a long unrelenting road journey to death. Very clever, you have quite the creative merit, laughed a lot and felt a little emotionally violated towards the end. Well done.

This is actually a beautifully done metaphor for the loneliness caused by the varying perceptions of vitality. Where others see respite, some see lethargy. Where some see exuberance, others see vulnerability. The skeleton with eyes and cosmic-travelling car represents man as they once were: primal, adventurous, daring and ready to take on the world. The bald man in blue personifies the man of today: safe and sound in their warm beds, isolated from the insecurity beyond their walls. The skeleton attempts to prompt remnants of the blue man's inner vigor, but alas, the concrete asylum of refuge has had too profound of an affect on his psyche, and has suppressed his mental garden, leaving the fruits of his tenacity withered and neglected. He dies, and the skeleton mourns the loss of his inability to accompany him aboard the excursion. In other words, he just wanted to take him for a ride.

The skeleton represents death, and the car ride is meant to represent dying. It forces him in because ultimately, we cannot avoid dying (or our bodies at least certainly) His body eventually decays and is turned into a skeleton. That planet of skeletons could be kind of like a metaphor, such as saying; "An Island of the Dead" or simile rather. This reminds me of a story, or what have you, by Orson Welles called The Hitch-Hiker. It's also so completely horrifying, because any way of it when you are dying and you know it; You are completely scared. It doesn't matter if your a psychopath or anything, you fear for that last minute of your life.
