The amount of pure intelligence it takes to think of something like this is incredible. It all circles back and the point is to show that if we had a life changing substance or object that fixed everything, eventually we wouldn't want it. Looping back to regular life. This is a MASTERPIECE. The way the story is told is amazing and the constant apathy of the creator of 'cream' and eventually everybody else is so cool.

the point is it’s already happening… we will never solve war, world hunger, etc. all these problems in life because they keep the rich, rich (the people saying “no”). corporations have innovations (symbolized by the “cream”) but sell us inferior products so we’ll keep on having problems and having to consume more and more. government creates propaganda and false flags to keep us in check and implement more laws and police and excuses to attack impoverished nations.

не знаю, мне не нравится этот фильм, как минимум если представить, что подобный крем появится в нашей жизни, его не станут допускать общественности и с небольшой вероятностью смогут использовать его на благо человечества. а то, что показано в этом фильме, ещё с самого его начала говорит о том, как крем приводит человечества к неминуемой погибели. не понимаю по какой причине фильм не закончился на том, что здравые президенты просто не взорвали бы все человечество, в надежде на то, что от крема получится избавиться и спустя продолжительное количество времени на Земле вновь зародится жизнь. ну серьёзно, как можно было избавиться от крема, который сам себя дублирует? это просто отвратительно

I just watched this for the first time…it freaks me out because of how real it feels. The movement of the people, the eyes, the cream it was all so much yet I could see it happening, see it happening now in the world. Firth never ceases to shock and chill me to the bones with his creations and this did not disappoint. Amazing work

It's not greed. It's government. Control of the masses. A hierarchical plan from divine consciousness itself. on a more serious note, this is brilliant, because from the get go you expect the twist to be that cream would be some form of mind control serum or something along those lines, but then subvert that and end it in a more realistic manor by having the rich and powerful try to ban it to push their own agenda paralleling how some people are trying to ban vaccines or gmo's in our own world.

If you did something contributal and that can help everyone people who disagree are gonna wait until you made a small mistake making it a big misinformation to others and let other people hate it. When you did not make mistakes and make it a near perfection(like the cream) those greedy rich people who got their money in bad ways such as pollution or deforestation I think are trying hard to push the people to their standards and make a good person punished in harmful ways while the rich goes to their normal ways being greedy.
