Having known that version first o began wondering if Lana did a cover as I thought she’d be perfect for it. Lana’s style fits Nancy and Lee’s vibe well. If someone was gonna do it, I approve of Lana. Nancy and Lee’s is my favorite, but I this one too.

Remember when this song came out and everyone was shocked seeing Lana jumping around, happy and just... suddenly changing.

it's so funny because when you first listen to this song (both this cover and the og song) you don't really focus on the lyrics, just the angelic melody and how well their voices go together. it's like you're being hypnotised, seduced by the melody. but when you actually listen to the lyrics you start realising what's it actually about, it's about a girl getting a man drunk so she can take his possessions and sell them. he's getting hypnotised, seduced by her, just like the listeners xD

now I’m 23 and everytime i hear this song i look back at my 13-year-old self cuz i first heard this song when i was 13 also i feel my teenage moments just like yesterday when i hear it. This song is just so special to me and thank you Queen Mother Lana for giving us this beautiful cover song. Thank you so much

Whenever I hear this I'm straight back to summer '14. Recording short clips of a three-girl-holiday somewhere in the south of France. I lost those recordings, and I lost those friends. But what I did not lose is my admiration of Lana. She brings me back to romanticized fragments of my life, even over 10 years ago. I'm from the TUMBLR era!

I met Nancy Sinatra in London in 2004 and always loved her and Lee Hazlewood's Summer Wine, one very special lady. Now I also love Lana and generally don't like covers, but they surely add another beautiful dimension to it. You go Lana.

This cover feels so timeless…every time I listen to Summer Wine by Lana (must said, not too often because I rarely listen the songs that I have a strong emotional connection with -hits hard) i get the same feeling, nostalgia and memories as the first time I listened to it 8 years ago…it will always be -not just close to my heart but part of my heart and piece of my life and memories -but I’m gonna be forever jealous of people that get to listen this song/cover for the first time, you don’t know how lucky you are…now just make your own memories with this masterpiece. “Strawberries Cherries and an angel’s kiss in spring, my summer wine is really made from all these things” ❤🥀

I really appreciate and value this song.

Lana is the only one who could successfully do a cover of this classic. Along with Barrie James O'neil who sang the duet with her. Great song. Beautifully recreated.
