Join Fy Nyth on social media - mewe.com/i/fynyth ! If you are new to my channel and Fy Nyth (Welsh for "My Nest") in general, welcome! I'm Ariel. Along with my husband Clay, our dogs, cats, bees, and some poultry, we live in a tiny house on wheels in the mountains of western Wyoming and are working on setting into our own new little homestead. I've been living this lifestyle since 2014 and my wonderful partner has joined me more recently. What will you find if you follow the channel and watch the videos?
Real life here. I try to show the good and the bad. The ups and the downs. What works, and what doesn't. The parts I love (most of it!), and the things that suck. Not just the showroom version of a tiny house, but everyday life in a tiny house. Not just the romantic idea of "homesteading" or off grid life, but the everyday details of this lifestyle. We split wood for heat, fill the water tank from a gravity fed spring, and attempt to grow as much of our own food as possible between the weather and wildlife here. I hope to help others learn from mistakes and make life just a little easier for anyone else interested in pursuing a similar lifestyle.
We live in a somewhat harsh and cold climate, but enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife that we are surrounded by on a daily basis. You'll also see videos of the nature and wildlife around my home. If you are interested in my photography or purchasing a photo, I'd love if you follow that over at mewe.com/join/arielcelestepho... or ArielCelestePhotography.zenfolio.com!

Those ducks! They are such a hoot! I love how social and communal they are. And it was so cute to see Burley breaking up the ice on the creek, and then playing with a piece of it. How is his jaw healing up? He looks really healthy and sure-footed again. And last, but definitely not least, it’s such a pleasure to see you and Clay working together now that he is retired. How nice for both of you to get to spend more time together. Blessings to you!

Funny chickens scolding Clay for meddling with their house! Apparently, your chickens don't mind bathing, but hate showers. I think one of the funniest things in our tiny flock is when the come running for a treat, and fall on the ice! They act so incensed after that. As though embarrassed!

It's amazing to see how much you and Clay have improved the place. Chickens will eat almost any kind of "meat." Still surprised to see them fighting over a mouse though. Our neighbor's rooster shows up to fight the old outdoor tom we feed over his dry food every day. We now feed him inside a little fenced garden which he can get in, but the mean clucks can't.

I always find it so curious how the ducks just have to follow each other so closely ... like they can't stand being apart ... lol. And then when they're literally running and foraging at the same time ... how in the heck do they even see anything to eat at that pace haha ... i love ducks, maybe that's why I'm so fascinated by their eccentricities!! On another topic, I am delighting in seeing Burley so frisky and healthy looking ... i am sooo grateful that he is thriving and that he is still with us (yes, I was just reflecting on how it's rather interesting how I, a viewer, have come to feel like they are part of my family!) Lovely content as always, and Love your happy thriving tiny house/country dwelling. Thank you Ariel, for the beautiful photography/videos!🐕🐱🦆🐓 🌸🌻🥰
