Gareth is going to get a lot of flak because of her low damage and seeming competition to Barghest/Gawain. While I can understand complaints about her performance, she's not even remotely the only unit in the game in a situation like this. Still she can be a usable unit for wave clears and multi damage dealer setups. How do you guys feel about Gareth? Do you feel the hate is justified? Will you be rolling for her or her banner? I'll probably roll for the 5 star she is with. And if I get her in the process, all the better.

I remember when she was revealed I was hoping she wouldn’t be the wellfare but now I wished she was, 1 ascension and all the Valkyries with multiple ascensions, wished I lived in that timeline.

I'm rolling the Ferlin banner, so I hope to get more than a few copies of her. She's so cute, and only I wish her lancer was more usable. With Ortlinde, short-hair lovers are eating good. Not a lot mind you, and not all that often--but *good.*

I don't see why burn and curse and the like keep showing up on servants. 300 burn damage isn't going to do anything against enemies with health three orders of magnitudes higher, even if you get four stacks of it with a brave chain. Buffing it by 45% or adding other tiny amounts can add up, but if you're waiting for tiny hits to add up you're going to be in a stall comp. Actually Gareth would be good in a stall comp with her large HP pool and guts but there are probably better DoT sabers for a stall comp.

I agree, particularly for low level burn/curse damage and for AOE servants. I do see some merit in ST servants who can apply things like disasterous curse and can get to their NPs to apply it quickly again because the curse damage can add up in boss fights. Even so, lots of servants have their NP gimped in terms of damage because they apply curse and in most of those situations it would be better to have more damage than less damage + curse applied on the NP.

I can't wait for summer. Assuming the game fixes itself. I'm stuck on the black 'connecting' screen forever and nothing I do fixes it.

I figured it out. It turned out to be because I was at Disney. As soon as I got home, it worked.

It always bothered me that Gareth, the Lancelot simp was NOT given Lancelot's sacred sword where she could use it as an AOE attack. In-game alone, from what I've seen, she's most obsessed with Lancelot. So I never understood this Gawain-centric design choice...

Even today I still find it funny looking at those Salter damage numbers at NP1 Vs 5 star like Arthur lol.

I like to imagine i live in a world DoT does % damage and not that awful 300 fix hp

500 SQ for her. Let's pray is enough for NP5. I love her a lot and want to take her to 120 like I did with her Lancer version.

I have her on JP (she was the target), but I likely won't get her on NA since Arcueid brought me relatively near pity while Ibuki, Skadi, and Kriemhild's next banner are higher on my priority list. That said, I'll take that luck if I can get it.

DOT is just bad and Lasengle just refuses to buff DOT. I still find how DOT cant break bars to be stupid. Gareth can be a burn Saber but that doesn't mean anything in FGO.

Summer Gareth is a good girl simply because she finally lets us see those pretty hands we've always been hearing about as opposed to Lancer Gareth, who is a tease that wears gloves in all her ascensions.
