I'll be rolling NP5 Lady Avalon when she comes out (probably on the 18th), hope to see you all there for that as I'll have a special catalyst to reveal for the rolls! Proto Merlin is a fantastic unit and while she has some interesting upgrades from merlin, she doesn't completely outclass him. Regardless she's still a great pick up and someone that everyone should consider adding to their roster, but you absolutely do not have to have her. i failed to roll merlin on almost all of his banners, i hope i dont have that curse on proto merlin

genuinely og merlin is better in like 95% of situations.

one thing i find kinda interesting is that in farming, proto merlin can do something og merlin can't as easily, since she has 20% charge and with 20% mana loading, and her 20% charge, she can np on her own with a 50% charge ce, and if there isn't a 50% charge ce, then you can just rely castoria's battery or her 3rd skill. Thanks to this she can potentially give your main dps either 2 stages of oc, one from her skill one from chaining nps, or 2 stages from using both at once, and depending on the nodes's composition and arts chaining you might be able to get her np gain by wave 2/3 allowing for another stage of oc and more potential battery if done on wave 2. The main negative is the run would be slower but its an interesting possibility that can be done with her.

When she was announced for arcade, i was like, there is only 3 characters i would want to go broke for if they ever come out in fgo, regardless of how good they are:

She's pretty much main target for this current slate of banners, although a couple Gareths would be

NP2 proto merlin is already enough. I just hope Summer Ibuki's banner will still be up even after Summer Skadi's banner drops. I want to roll for Skadi first and get her so i can go all out with ibuki's banner afterwards.

I'm 100% going to pull for her.

My main goal this Summer is Summer Skadi and maybe Summer Erice (If I'm lucky enough) but I am wondering if I should roll for Proto Merlin since Tamamo decided to spook me this Anniversary while rolling for Arcueid.

I ended up choosing prisma cosmos because I have 3 copies of black grail and kaleidoscope, and 7 copies of Fragments and 6 copies of prisma cosmos

I have a NP5 Miyu for arts and NP 2 Merlin, so I didn't really need lady Avalon. Also, Merlins np gain on his np is stackable on turn 4 and 5 oof the last np cycle assuming u np again on turn 3.
