Summer Pond DIY Ecosphere - How To Make An Ecosphere or Jarrarium - Self Sustaining Ecosystem

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

#ecosphere #pond #insects It’s summer time which means we can get back to the ecospheres!
Also, the plant is Hornwort not Hogwart…. Too much Harry Potter has lead to a pretty bad autocorrect 😂

I've got a pond in my garden so I'm looking to make this. Do you ever open the lid? Or do the plants make enough oxygen? And would it work in a smaller jar? (500ml)

Do you have to have it closed off?

  • @Fishkeepingmadeeasy

You don’t have to but it will evaporate a lot. The idea with closing it is the condensation rises and then drips back down

Without seeing it I’m not sure. It could be bacterial bloom or something along those lines. It will likely go away over time, if not change the watee
