Summer weather in the North GA mountains - how hot does it get?? We have actually had a pretty mild summer in comparison to other parts of the US. Most days we were hovering in the 80's, with August being the hottest and getting into the 90's. It rained a good bit this summer, which helped with the slightly cooler temps.
There's all sorts of fun summer activities in the mountains, such as biking, hiking and all the fun water activities.

Thanks so much! We find these videos so helpful. Would love to see a video on the events, such as festivals, musicals, etc.… That happen in the area. Maybe something that spans varying age groups of interest. Nice job on the video!

We live in Florida and haven't been able to get up to the mountains this year. But I LOVE Helen! Love to tube the Chattahootchee river! And, downtown Helen is such a pretty place. Haven't tried the mountain coaster there and at $17 a person for a couple minute ride, I doubt I will. We did the one up in Ober Gatlinburg and it was fun (can't remember how much but I'm sure it wasn't cheap, lol) but I like the Alpine Slide much better!

Just found you! I’m an original Georgia boy now living in Flarda 😄 I’ve been scouring to see what acreage is now in the remote areas of the mountains . I really don’t see any for sale remotely.

Remote makes me automatically think more unrestricted, since it will likely be way off the beaten path. Unrestricted land is generally a little harder to come by, and therefore more expensive. Please reach out if I can be of help!
When the water is lowered in the lake are there any areas where you can still go boating? Or at that point is the lake closed for all activities? I assumed you could still go boating in the main channels of the lake, even when the lake was at the lower level. Obviously not when it's frozen, lol.

You can still go boating. It’s not completely drained, just lowered.
