I am so impressed with your efficient ways of doing all those pizzas at one time in a small oven. I realize that took practice to get to that but it amazes me how you use that sourdough and just spoon it in there and it's so rustic and looks wonderful. I wished I had a fourth of your energy and to know that you are pregnant you are amazing and you are very blessed thank you for this video.

I make mango salsa often, but never with cucumber, I will definitely give this a try though. We're the opposite, we love cucumbers. Especially fresh from the garden, sliced with vine ripened tomatoes and sliced onion with a simple vinaigrette or balsamic vinaigrette. Cucumber sandwiches, and wedges of cucumber dipped in hummus...this is why I should never watch videos with food when hungry. Lovely video again, thank you for sharing.

I was surprised by the lack of onion too. For some reason, I consider it a 'must' in almost any salsa. (I also do a version of this with shrimp. It cooks in the lime juice and it's fantastic... but I think that makes it a ceviche.)

Salads and salsas are like soups and stews in that they get better the longer their flavors get to blend. 20% of the population has an enzyme oddity related to their taste buds so cannot eat cilantro, but we all can substitute flat leaf parsley or some other leafy green. The meals look terrific. The only major difference is that this is cow mozzarella, not buffalo mozzarella from water buffalo in some areas of Italy. Though they use cows in other areas. The mozzarella from the water buffalo tends to be creamier, softer and tangier. Both tasty.

A newer trend that I’ve noticed is cooks and top trained chefs that incorporate food scraps into meals. This is not a new trend with certain immigrant groups, I might have turned my nose up years ago as a younger woman, but it really is a great way to stretch any budget. I’ve started putting my food scraps in freezer bags in the freezer to see what I can come up with later on. For years I have put over-ripe bananas in my freezer for smoothies, banana bread, banana cake, etc. it’s wonderful. The bananas looks bad, but they’re delicious!! Edited: spelling (oops!)

I will try surely your salad with mango, I want that you try pizza as we made in Italy with your sourdough starter there are so many channels on youtube that you can find, is really good; we made a pasta very similar to the bread pasta and then extend it from the center to outsides corners on this way the corner is higher than the center and can contain the sauce tomatoes, and the other things you want to put on it, basil leaves never go to the oven by first just at the end.

some tips for kitchen reno: 1. budget - you will go over, so account for that, esp if it is a complete reno 2. function - watch videos on the work triangle and function of the space... doesn't matter how pretty you reno it, if it doesn't function, it won't work. 3. style - can't go wrong with traditional style, neutral colors for the main things that are expensive (counters, cabinets, and appliances) and those things you won't be changing again (backsplash, sink)... use inexpensive trendy items that can easily and affordably changed out (dish cloths, pictures, counter vignettes, seasonal displays 4. don't skimp on faucets and knobs - they are used 100's of times per day 5. use the Houzz website for free and fun ideas 6. If cabinets are in great shape, but just dated, paint them out and get new knobs 7. Storage/Pantry - can't have enough storage for small appliances and food...make a special space for all those small appliances so they are in reach, but out of the way 8. Paint - paint goes a long way! But make sure you pick the right color... get the mini sample cans, and some leftover drywall, to make large paint sample boards and see how the light in your kitchen will change the color, depending on time of day, and natural light... good luck!

The mango salsa looks delicious! This comment may seem off the beaten path but i noticed the crack in your pottery bowl. The materials, compounds, that go into making glazes for pottery may contain lead and other toxic compounds. Once the glaze has cracked and exposed, those compounds can leach into your food. No one knows but the potter that made that bowl what compounds are in their glazes. Its better to be safe, its a beautiful bowl but i would strongly suggest to not use it for food.😊

Love this! Your pizzas made my mouth water. I suck at sourdough and am so frustrated with failing at it. I've watched umpteen videos and read about it and I just can't get it right. I will try again in the fall, but I gave my recent batch of starter-ish stuff to the chickens. At least we had the eggs? : / You've inspired me to re-think a future kitchen remodel. We remodeled our kitchen (it was horrid when we moved here many years ago.) a long time ago from cabinets out of both my parent's and my brother's homes (the kitchens were remodeled at the same time in the late 70's and matched) and we bought new counter tops, appliances, etc. We plan to do another remodel some sweet day and I'd always figured that meant going into Lowe's and agonizing over whatever they had on offer. Now I'm thinking we may piece things together as we find what we like. The sad thing is that we had an older porcelain sink in the kitchen when we moved here (in 1994) and I was ashamed of it and couldn't wait to see it go. Now, I want it back. We weren't homesteaders back then. We were 'regular' folk back then, consuming as fast as we could, producing nearly nothing ourselves (except more money with which to consume), following the pack, and not having a clue who we really wanted to be. We changed our lifestyle up in 2012 and haven't looked back. So...I'll be on the look out for the kind of sink that I scoffed at back then. ;) God bless!

HI! I just found your channel and I am a bit obsessed. LOL! Watching you reminds me who I was before we adopted 7 kids. Life has taken the place of a lot of the homemaking part of me. However, you have inspired me to try and take some of it back. I wish I could transform overnight, but I will start out with your recipes and purpose for cleaning. Do you homeschool? If so, when do you find the time? Where do you buy your dresses or have you made them as well? Sorry I am rambling.
