I was very surprised to see Chanel19 in this review. Not too many people talk about it. It is a very unique fragrance indeed.

I totally LOVE it! Hahaha I think it was one of those scents that really surprised me way back when I first tried it. And like people - the ones you did not expect to love often turn out to be the enduring ones!

My husband brought me a bottle of Chanel 19 and I really like it. I saw the small bottles of Jo Malone's new summer fragrances, was thinking of buying the orange to mix with some of my summer scents. So far I haven't purchased any of her fragrances.Don't know how I missed your eye lash video, glad you linked it. I love more natural falsies when I wear them. Nice favorites! Your eye makeup looks pretty!

Ooh, it sounds like your husband has quite unique taste when it comes to fragrances; he seems to gravitate to many of the complex classics, or else he's influenced by your taste, haha! The orange is fresh and fun, like that burst of orange oil in the air when peeling oranges! but I was with a couple of friends and it disappeared in a few mins for all of us, which is a bummer for an expensive cologne. May I suggest sniffing Tangy Rhubarb from the new line if you are in the mood for something fresh and citrus? It's still an ultra-fresh orange based scent despite the name (contains rhubarb, orange and cedar). Only the scent lingers and stays much better. And the rhubarb also adds a little something more unique so it's not "just orange". Both my friends love it. Worth a sniff in my opinion!

So nice to see some of your current favourites! It is truly impossible to run through all of one's favourite cosmetics in just a month, so it makes a lot of sense to not always have favourites monthly. That being said, it is of course utterly fun to try new stuff and face washes are especially easy to rotate since they probably get used the quickest. One of my favourite foaming face washes is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel, it truly worked wonders on my blemish-prone combination oily skin. This one by Covermark looks very intriguing, will have to look into it. Had no idea that tranexamic acid was also good for the skin! I usually take capsules to help with my heavy periods from time to time. That Dr. Jart Cicapair cream is one I've been eyeing for a while since it seemed so handy for when you wanted something light and easy on your face. Great seeing the demonstration, it blended in seamlessly ✨ The new Missha BB cream looks very nice, especially like the updated shade 23. And that Dior Powder-No-Powder is brilliant. I'll see if I can get my hands on it sometime this year. But hot damn, I need that Gucci 214! It is exactly the type of sheer lip colour I am always on the lookout for. Ah that Chanel No. 19... I totally need it in my life. Just love Chanel's fragrances. Jo Malone is always a treat! Lychee and Rose make a heady combination for me. No one describes scents quite like you, not a fan of Chanel No 5 or 19 but u make me wanna buy both lol. I’ve been trialing out Eucerin (drugstore) double serum for spots (containing thiamidol). Any thoughts ?

I need to test that out next! It’s quite a new thing; as in no other brand or lab has spoken about it other than Eucerin, whose parent Beiersdorf paid for all the research which says it’s better than other actives, and owns the patent on using it. From what they describe it seems to work like tranexamic acid or niacinamide, but possibly much faster, so I’m still curious to try it out - even though I am skeptical about the big claims when I realised the studies were all paid for haha. But that doesn’t always mean it’s not effective. What was your experience so far??

@@IamCandiceKC just been using for 2 weeks, with any products, i am realistic and give a whole bottle (30ml) chance to proove itself lol. Supposedly see lightening of spots 2-4 weeks. trying not to imagine things haha.

i looove rose jam lol I love lychee too! I want a perfume that smells of straight up lychee! Really good video. I've been loving those balmy colours too, I like Jill Stuart lippies for the glossy balmy look

Ooh yes the Jill Stuart lipsticks are SO nice for that shiny balmy feel, you're right! I need to see if they have some "neutral" tones cos mine is a brighter coral and I don't ever remember to reach for it on a regular basis even though the texture is gorgeous. If you love Lychee, have you tried Fresh Sugar Lychee? It's quite juicy and yummy but not sticky sweet!

Hii! Omg I wanna try the INKEYLIST tranexamic acid!! I have some acne scars that arent going away TT Can I ask do u apply it after moisturiser???

I recall that you’ve recommended the Hada Labo Shirojyun lotion for its tranexamic properties too! I was wondering how it compares to the inkey list one? Desperate to fade post-pimple marks!

I still use it! I layer them cos I'm very "extra" hahaha. Shirojyun's liquid format makes it easy to get on your arms, chest etc. But it does not contain the same concentration of tranexamic that a targeted serum would, so if you have things like acne marks or a new sunburn etc that you want to quickly heal up, a serum would work much quicker. If your skin is relatively unblemished and you just want to do light overall maintenance, the Shirojyun may be sufficient!
