Wow, sulfur is amazing for acne!!! Thank you for sharing this advice! Also, in my country (Romania) there are some amazing natural springs with sulfur water, it smells quite awful (😊), but it is very good for a whole range of deseases. I hope that our local beauty industry will incorporate in the future that amazing sulfur water. We have a range of beauty products that are quite good (Gerovital, a brand established by world-known Ana Aslan) and i am really happy that they are expanding the product line. Sorry for my writing, english is not my spoken language ❤❤❤❤

I use one by neutrogena that is 10% sulfur and 4% niacinamide and it’s pretty much just like the Kate Summerville one. I just love using those little spot treatments. There’s something so satisfying about the way the product stays separated and when you did through the liquid and pick the pink powder up, the liquid doesn’t wash the powder off the q-tip.

I used to use the Mario Badescue one and it was kinda meh, not as great as everyone was hyping it up to be. After that I started using The Inkey List Succinic Acid acne spot treatment and I’m pleasantly surprised at how much better it works at minimizing acne. Plus it looks good under makeup and can be used morning and night, whereas the drying lotion can only be used at night and looks funky and leaves a weird smell on my pillows and blankets.

@@mmmmmmmmaria So you need some calamine lotion, rubbing alcohol, distilled water, salicylic acid (I use willow bark), and camphor essential oil, zinc oxide and sulphur powder. If the calamine lotion is on the thicker side you might be able to leave out the zinc oxide. I don’t use a recipe really, I just know now how much to use of each by eye but you want to fill a small bottle half way with calamine lotion (or more if you don’t have zinc oxide powder), add about a teaspoon of isopropyl alcohol, a teaspoon of sulphur powder and 1/2 teaspoon of willow bark and about 3-4 drops of camphor (or tea tree oil). If you have liquidy calamine lotion and no zinc oxide, leave out the distilled water. Add a little if your mixture is thick. Shake up very well and them don’t shake it again. Use a q-tip to dip into the powder layer at the bottom and then up through the clear layer and apply, using a clean q-tip side or another q-tip so a used one doesn’t get dipped back in. This is just off the top of ky head so I can’t guarantee this will work out perfectly but from there you can add more calamine, distilled water, zinc oxide, etc as needed. Be careful not to use too much more alcohol, willow bark or camphor because they can irritate the skin. A bottle lasts me and my daughter for at least a month and I can probably make hundreds with the materials I’ve gathered online. The ingredients are relatively cheap and easy to find. I actually get calamine lotion from a dollar store. You might be able to get a more accurate recipe online. I hope this helps!! :)

@@mmmmmmmmaria I ahould have noted in my “recipe” that the zinc oxide is in powder form. It’s pretty easy to find online. I bought something like a pound of it for next to nothing (also great to mix it with a bit of oil and maybe a bit of a butter, like mango butter or something like that) to make a paste and treat bug bites, burns, etc. You can choose the oil and butter you wish. Maybe even just castor oil on it’s own would be good since it’s thick and has healing properties.

Hey! I have had acne that started over 2 years ago. Back then I was dumb enough to pop them, unaware of the consequences. As a result, I have over 35 acne scars (maybe acne scars???) That are like pimples since they are raised but have a hole in the middle (like when you pop a big pimple) with puss inside from 2 years ago. It is extremely hard to get the puss out and even when I did, it left a slight mark with a dark spot over it. I am afraid of doing this to all my acne scarring because it may do more harm than good. Please, if anyone knows what to do, help me😢
