Suilven, A very special place | North West Highlands - August 2018, On the Adventure Trials Scotland

Suilven - A very special place, North West Highlands - August 2018, On the Adventure Trials Scotland
An adventure to Suilven, it may be only 731 metres high, but its remarkable outline makes it one of Scotland's best known and most easily identified mountains. Packrafting in to this special place through the Inverpolly Nature Reserve starting at Boat Bay and heading into Loch Sionasgaig and a number of smaller rivers and lochs. Its got to be once of the places that has that real wilderness feeling of remoteness and seclusion. These guys are constantly watching over you and you can feel that they are the ones that command this area - Stac Pollaidh, Cul Mor, Cul Beag, Suilven, you are surrounded by them and feel small in their shadow.

Another beautiful film. As an ex-film technician I know how much effort goes into such a polished work. It doesn’t show and that’s the skill. Thank you. I’m working my way through all your films. I’ve spent a weekend as an armchair mountaineer but come the end of May I’m off to Assynt, boots on and Norman MacCaig in my backpack. I cannot wait and your amazing films are really whetting my appetite.

Only just discovered your channel, probably because I’ve been looking at videos on Suilven. I was lucky enough to camp on the summit in June this year. Watching your video brings me right back there. The most amazing wild camp I’ve ever done. We were lucky to have blue skies and sunshine all weekend. Liked and subscribed 👍
