I'm an old(er) guy, a distance trucker and regularly find myself singing to top of my lungs with her as I travel the country. Love this women's voice!

Benn there ever since my neurological and nerve damage and permanently in a wheelchair for life because of a simple flue shot. Now I’m completely numb in my feelings. Don’t laugh, I don’t cry and become in different. Doctors won’t give me the vax because of it. I even pleaded with them. I don’t want to live anymore. I want to die now! I hope Jennifer didn’t get the vax. Probably not, because she’s pretty educated 👍

Honestly won of the most accurate songs ever written lyrically to describe real heartache and the numbness that can come with it. Too many songs focus on pain and anguish, when really it's the lack of feeling that comes after that "hurts" the most. This song nails it, with an awesome vocal and melody.

love her voice. Recognizable is rare these days. When she sings there is no doubt who it is. I miss that in modern commercial radio artists.

This song split the heart when i first heard it.... Balled my eyes out & listened to it un till i learned the lyrics. As f'd up as it is, i want to sing this at my biological fathers funeral... Have since I discovered the song 5yrs ago. I'm 31 now... And after fighting and fighting for a relationship literally all my life i stopped 3 yrs ago. He's been an alcoholic my whole life, and has tried to explain it. My parents split at 6.5yrs old & mom remarried at 7.5.... I've struggled through the stranger. Tears use to fill my ears every night in my high school days. I always wondered what i had to do to keep him from causing so much pain 😪. Finally, I became a mother & decided i didnt like how he was, who i was around him, & didnt want my son to grow up with that pain in his life 💔. But yet, in the back of my mind i'm the guilty one....

I feel like she read my diary singing this song... My ex husband and father of our beautiful babies took his life a year ago and I still can't shake or organize all of the mixed feelings. All the nights I've watched my babies cry themselves to sleep, all of the nights I've done the same. I wish I could have stopped him.. I agree 100% Michael Pollock! Everything about her is beautiful. In fact, I think she's one of the most stunning woman I've ever seen, so naturally gorgeous, (even without makeup) I think a big part of that is the beauty that oozes from her inside, out:)🥰 She is the epitome of what a star should be- she stays true to her talent, continually releasing quality music that never fails to exceed her fans expectations. She doesn't have a bunch of junk printed about her in the tabloids, nor do you hear stories about her being difficult to work with. I think I pretty much just summarized what it takes to be the perfect country singer/entertainer‼️ Thank you, Sugarland!! (and you better believe when I was traveling through Texas a few years back, I made a special point to go out of my way by a couple hundred miles to go to SugarLand, Texas, just so I could say I'd been there, lol) 🤠

So much better than the young, cute, autotuned bunch. She is not only the best singer in country but arguably the best singer in pop and rock as well. Love her voice!

this song touches me because when she say she "struggled through a stranger, till he loved her, but it made her love (the person she's missing) even more" is so true for me. The person i love even more-isn't even mine really to love-which is why Sugarland's Stay has a lot of meaning for me too. I'm trapped and to the point i can't laugh or cry-but need to find a way to "keep from doing this to me" :'(

She is so talented, her raw emotions in her songs make them so much better.

Jennifer always seems to bring a part of you in her songs....you have been there and felt that pain or joy, somehow. And her powerful vocal range knows just when to purr like a kitten or take you to your knees in pain! Love this women's voice and persona....I never want her songs to come to an end!

"He loved me till I loved you even more"... I don't see this as a love song. I relate to this song because I think we all face some kind of depression. "And I can't laugh, can't cry, I can't run, can't hide" is exactly what it usually does to people.

What an amazing performer! She has the perfect tone and voice for singing. Jennifer is the queen of country!

I like Jennifer. But it seems to me she's often singing about affairs or busting up marriages. I was raised in the south and spent a LOT of time in C&W type bars. I've seen a lot of women come and go-had my share of "affairs" and so did the 4-5 guys I ran with. Jennifer, tall, lean and blonde is exactly the type I went for and have seen cause a lot of drama, fist fights, separations, divorces, etc. But just as soon as she gets what she wants, there's not enough drama in her life and she moves on to the next one.

this song feels likes its about me for the past 10 years, so depressed from what life throws at me that I had no time to love a man fully, to cry, to laugh.
