Even before I was a believer I could not get through this song without tears. Now that I have received the gift of salvation I get so overwhelmed with gratitude and humility. Our Father loves us so much. Hallelujah ❤

It's NOT the complete song. She sings V1 completely, then V3 except for the last 3 lines. The she replaces them with the last 3 lines of V1. She completely omits V2. I've never seen anyone sing the entire song in You-Tube except a cappella version by a male group. That said, Jennifer sings what she does sing very well, with her heart in it.

The title of the video is inaccurate. The largest part of the video (till 3:47) is not "a Leonard Cohen Cover", but "Holy Night" a traditional X-mas Song. Only 1:18 minute of the video is she singing "Hallelujah". Just sayin'

Bill Johnson Ain't that the truth! Her band Sugarland with Kristian Bush will go down as one of country music's best/most iconic duos. An INCREDIBLE talent. I love everything she does. Sugarland just kicked off their new 2020 "There Goes The Neighbourhood" Tour. Jennifer is brilliant, everything she sings, everybody she sings with-is incredible. She is this world's best kept secret.

I think I have listened to this video dozens, if not hundreds of times. The combination of Nettles' incredible voice and the sheer joy of her performance means I will keep listening again and agin!

Ever year I come back for more. Goosebumps and tears. Those lyrics and her voice!!!

That’s wonderful, amazing and tremendously that you actually got to see Jennifer just out walking around and thankfully you didn’t crash your motorbike 🏍!!! Thank Goodness 😅 You Didn’t 😂!!!! She not just singing this song 🎵 Jennifer is also rejoicing the entire time and that just gives me the goosebumps and makes tingles go up and down my spine every time I hear her singing on this video!!!! As you may know Jennifer is even better live than on a recording (which are always great) but she’s such an emotional and sensitive person there’s just nothing better than seeing her perform live!!!!! 🎵🎤🎼 Please forgive all grammatical errors because I have “MS” which causes many issues when trying to type any comments because of the many side effects plus I’m using my iPhone and not my iPad which helps me see somewhat better!! I can't listen to anyone sing this song who does not demonstrate the intense commanding power that the phrase "Fall on Your Knees" should have. I have never heard anyone who can even come close to the passionate intensity of Jennifer Nettles on that phrase 01:03-01:11

What a wonderful performance. She puts her heart and soul into her singing. Christmas without Jennifer singing O Holy Night wouldn't be the same. Just brilliant!

One of the most mature, adult female voices ever...she takes a song and shows it who's the boss...( and I mean that in a good way...)

The ONLY thing I want for Christmas is to hear the entire version of this song from her angelic voice. Heaven on earth!!!

I keep coming back to this and it continues to bring tears to my eyes. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard in my life.

This is the best version I’ve ever heard.

I come back at least a few times a year to be inspired by the talent, passion and message. Struck by how many comments are recent, despite the video being four years old. I suppose in 2020 we all are in need of inspiration. Carrie Underwood "How Great Thou Art" should also be on the list. Peace to all.

Absolutely the best rendition of this beautiful Christmas hymn. Her voice is exquisite and very Southern at the same time, I love the sound.

I love listening to Jennifer Nettles and this is one of her best songs in my opinion. They are all good. But I've listened to this one about a dozen times and never get tired of hearing it again.

Really guys and gals who also have it, I just don't care I'm dealing with it very well. And I watch a video like this and I'm borderline spiritually moved to tears. I hope that before my God calls me home I have the opportunity to meet this woman and her family and shake their hands and say thank you. I know the age of the video I was there in the beginning when it was first released. I was there in between and I'm here now.

I think that is the most beautiful version of that song that I have ever heard.She has a beautiful voice.

I never liked Sugarland because I thought her voice sounded nasally. But I heard her sing the Star Spangled Banner once and was blown away. Her voice is amazing. As someone who is a horrible singer, I can't imagine being able to open my mouth and have that come out! This is the best version of O' Holy Night that I've ever heard. I had chills the whole time. Her voice is so strong and beautiful!!!

Absolutely second to none in her performance...in my opinion Jennifer Nettles is the best female vocalist ever in any genre. No one has such a soulful voice or more passionate presentation...and stunning to boot...that's the whole package without doubt.

One of the most versatile voices out there. This beautiful lady can sing it all, Country, Rock, Hymns and Broadway show tunes. She never fails to give me chills. ❤️
