I have heard so many versions of this song, including Elvis' version and still this one makes me cry every time. I think it's because you can tell that she was really touched by the spirit when she sang this beautiful song. She was really singing to God when she sang this song.

I agree with other comments, Carrie Underwood wasn't singing that night, she was praising the Almighty God. I don't get tired of watching this video, and it makes me cry every single time.
