Quite a Sugarfoot and I have been praticing Clinton Anderson Ground Training Fundamentals and are having a great time! We are learning how to speak the same language. Ground Training is such a rewarding experience!
Sugarfoot is a Tennessee Walking Horse, so in the video, she trots, paces and gaits when doing the exercises.
Hope you enjoy the video!

What a sweetie! Awesome job.
Thank you for that!
Awesome video! You should be proud. :)
Thanks!
Sorry, I didnt know the lady was ground trained to a confined space. I thought it was going to be about the horse......
WTF, every stock horse in australia knows 'the stockwhip', generally horses do not worry as long as you do belt the horse with the whip... Loud noises?.. milk horses dealt with loud noises in our grandfathers day. This stuff is basic education and should be done with any work animal...
Watch a clip of Clinton Anderson Starting a Foal, it is o. KZread, it will show you where your mare should be at all times. She has the concept of giving you two eyes, get after her butt to straighten her out properly. Watch how he holds the line, it is NOT how you are holding it. This mare could be so much better. She is well beyond the concept stage where you give her slack. She knows what she's supposed to do, but is being very lazy. Yielding the hindquarters and forequarters should have more energy in then it does. My goodness!! You say you are following the fundamentals, but in this short video, I've told you where you need to fix it. Do it for you and your horse, you'll be happier in the end !! This was a very hard video to watch with all the errors, when I saw that the horse was beyond the concept stage. You must not expect a lot out of your horse if you continue like this.
