Well said man , you speak the truth for sure. It was enlightening to watch Mike Tyson reminisce with one of his idols. Reminded me of how much hard work pays off. And how the pay off is just surviving the storm, weathering the game of life. And still being able to look back, laugh about it and smile. Regardless of how far your journey took ya. You took that journey solo. And made it out alive.

13:46 when he explains why he’s a student of war until he says he’s “a student of humbleness” and that he’s crying because he’s not the same person he was and he misses the warrior he once was resonated with me. But I can’t agree with Mike when he says “now I’m nothing”.... Mike, you’ll never read this, but not only are you something... bro you are something and someone special... and many people that have been down that treacherous road of addiction, depression and the harshest life experiences can gain strength from you brother... I salute you man... I met you when I was 14, and I’m from P.G County MD, same as Sugar Ray... I appreciate the both of you dudes... Much love and much respect...

Weird how that happens huh? The ones who are most brutal at 25 are the gentlest, must humble, and most compassionate once they hit middle age and beyond. One thing is for sure, these guys have NOTHING to prove and I think that might make it easier for them to be as open emotionally as they are. This video was a hell of a ride. Because down deep you know Mike fucking Tyson could still put a historical-level asswhipping on someone who deserved it, but as he says himself, he doesn't like that version of himself anymore and he's SCARED of it. I'm scared of it too, Mike, I hope you never have a reason to let that beast out again.

Best shit I have seen in a while, you can tell how much it meant for Mike when Ray opened up about his struggles, I could see the emotion in his face and I knew he was quiet because he had a lump throat, then when he tried to speak he couldnt because he was overwhelmed. Thats just as real as it gets. No fakeness just being himself. My respects to all of them for reaching out to others.

To be "The Baddest Man On The Planet" and you're on camera weeping openly telling a man you admire, love, and are inspired by him in one breath and the next breath you say "That's why men feared me. Interesting stuff boxing can take a poor kid outta the ghetto but can never take that shame and low self esteem outta the kid. Chuks Odenigbo Agreed. Shrooms and acid brought this outta me. I felt as if I were inside of myself, looking through my eyes as the world seeing myself. It made me realize the magnitude of how I was living, and where I was heading. I’m pushing 40 now, I’m losing things I thought I’d never lose and gaining things I’ve never wanted. But that’s life. The most honest advice I can give, is never silence your emotions they knew us balanced. I’ve gone through periods where I forgot how to cry, I just couldn’t do it. I had hardened myself to the point that I just didn’t give a shit, about anything. Be honest with yourself, when that honesty begins to hurt and bother you, your conscience is telling you to make a change.
